“We had a wonderful time at the beautiful, friendly and cosy Grey Owl Inn. Good location if you want a calm place and like to explore the surroundings. We especially recommended this Inn to those who plan to stay for a couple of days - the rooms are very nice, comfortable and well equipped. And don't miss Jekyll Island!”

“The room was charming, clean and comfortable. Not like your typical big-chain hotel for sure. Convenient to the lighthouse and other historical sites. Will definitely recommend to others and am already planning g a future stay. ”

“Staff was friendly and the food was excellent in the restaurants. Bar was woefully under-staffed in the evenings. Beds were comfortable and ocean view decks were sheltered from the wind and of a nice size.”

“I had not been informed that the building was under construction. There was a jackhammer going non stop. The shower did not get hot and it whistled. The light in the bathroom was super dim and with the shower curtain closed it was dark. The floor was as dirty. I stayed here about 10 years ago and it was great. Sad to see it so rundown.”

“Great location, clean room ”

“Pre-paid, but when I arrived I was told that the hotel was overbooked. The front desk sent me next door to their “sister property,” the 2-star Fairfield Inn. Might as well have been a Motel. Disgusting and dirty. And no price adjustment! The shower was dirty, the bed sheets had a drawing on them in black marker, and the room was generally dirty with what appeared to be blood on the wall. ”

“I really like this cute little place, but a couple of things could’ve been better, especially for the price. The small single cup coffee maker did not work and the walk-in shower was not clean. Luckily I bring cleaning wipes everywhere I go. I wasn’t a fan of the design of the shower as it had half a glass shower door, but nothing else. Other than that, the staff was really nice and answered all of our questions. Breakfast was delicious also.”

“We went to Jekyll Island for a Sisters Week and Hampton Inn did not disappoint! As soon as you stepped into the lobby, you could feel the warmth and friendliness. Every single staff member greeted us and we even developed friendships while there. The room was spacious and very clean. The pool was always attended to and it was an excellent temperature. The breakfast had lots to offer and the boardwalk to the beach was one of our favorite spots. James, the manager, gave us lots of places to...

“Enjoyed my stay. The only negative is the sliding bathroom door which is very heavy and sometimes difficult to slide. Not sure why they couldn’t have regular doors. ”

“Yes. Nice visit! My only complaint was that the hot tub was not hot and was filled up with kids... often with no parental supervision.”

“The staff at the front desk were great. The room was just OK. The carpets were stained and dirty and had a smell. Pretty gross actually. If you stay in Room 325 definitely wear slippers or socks. ”
