The apartment was a really lovely place to stay. The terrace was so nice for sitting out and sunbathing, we used to bbq one night as well which was a lovely thing to have. The pool area was lovely and well maintained and always pretty quiet, it was great as well that there were clean toilets right next to the pool area so you didn’t have to go back to the apartment.
The only downside was that we didn’t have a car, which we had planned on renting but for various reasons we didn’t, and it was really tricky getting around. We managed to get the bus from the bottom of the hill into Nerja few times, which was handy but it was often quite late and didn’t run very regularly. Taxis from Nerja were also often tricky to find.
There is a little minimart in the hotel down the road but the walk is a slog and it has very little in it, really you need to access the supermarkets in Nerja for anything decent.
There is a lovely restaurant at the bottom of the hill, the Mirador, which we would really recommend.
Also, it is very very hilly - we are young and in decent shape and it was tough getting up and down the hill, which is something to be aware of.
Britta was so helpful and flexible with checking in and out.
If we had had a car it would have been perfect, and it was our fault that we didn’t, and would recommend it as a place to stay if you rent a car.
