Nestled in the heart of the Monts du Cantal, the Gîte de Rochebrune invites you to experience a real timeless interlude, between unspoilt nature, wide open spaces and moments of sharing.

With its breathtaking view of the Château de Rochebrune, this former outbuilding of the castle, completely renovated with care, has been designed to offer you a stay placed under the sign of comfort, well-being and conviviality.

After a day exploring the landscapes of Cantal, take advantage of your indoor jacuzzi and the warm atmosphere of the cottage to relax and meet up with family or friends.

🏡 A comfortable cottage for 15 people

With its 7 bedrooms and 15 beds, the Gîte de Rochebrune can comfortably accommodate families and groups of friends.

You will have:

6 bedrooms with double beds, including 2 bedrooms without natural light;
1 bedroom with bunk beds, ideal for children or teenagers;
4 bathrooms;
5 toilets;
A large convivial kitchen entirely designed for group stays.

Bed linen is provided. Beds will be made on arrival.

📺 Spaces to share and meet

Because holidays are also made to enjoy each other, the cottage has large spaces dedicated to relaxation.

Sit in the lounge area in front of the extra-large TV, to watch a movie, watch a game or simply enjoy an evening together.

The cottage is located on an enclosed plot of 500 m², ideal for enjoying the outdoors in peace.

You can sit on one of the two terraces, relax on the sun loungers, share a meal around the barbecue or organize a game of pétanque.

Private parking is also available.

And from May to September, take advantage of the outdoor swimming pool to cool off and fully enjoy the beautiful summer days.

The Gîte de Rochebrune is the ideal starting point to discover the natural riches of the Monts du Cantal.

Numerous hiking trails will allow you to go on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback, and to discover exceptional landscapes.

Nature lovers will also be able to observe the local fauna and flora, which are particularly rich.

In autumn, when nature gradually falls asleep, let yourself be surprised by the bellowing of the deer. In the quiet evenings of September and October, listen to the powerful call of the deer that inhabit the surrounding forests.

And when night falls, another show begins...

Thanks to the low light pollution, the sky is revealed in all its splendour. The Milky Way, stars and shooting stars offer a magnificent spectacle, far from the lights of the cities.

Located in the immediate vicinity of the cottage, the Château de Rochebrune contributes fully to the charm and authenticity of the place.

In summer, take advantage of the country market organized every Tuesday evening, with its country meal on reservation.

Visits to the castle, evenings around the stars and various activities are also offered throughout the season.

❄️ In winter, head for the Cantal mountains

Winter sports enthusiasts will be ideally located.

Only 20 minutes away, the family and authentic resort of Prat-de-Bouc offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledging and downhill skiing.

For skiing enthusiasts, the ski lift also allows you to reach the slopes of Lioran via the Cantal mountains.
