“They were renovating, so parking was horrible. There must have been a baseball & basketball tournament because lots of kids running up and down the halls late at night, sounded like basketballs dribbling on the floor. Young kids running unsupervised. Even sounded like the renovation crew was on floor above us working past 9:30 p.m. Hard to rest.”

“The hotel is a good one - very convenient for me as I visit St. Clairsville fairly often. The property is clean and well maintained. Breakfast buffet is fine and has decent coffee (important for me). Parking is plentiful and it’s so close to local restaurants. The only reason I don’t t give it 5 stars is because of the road noise - not terrible but you can hear it at night. Didn’t keep me from sleeping though. Overall good place to stay.”

“Room appeared clean, but trash from previous occupants was found under the bed. No cooling mirror. Window blinds were broken and did not go up past 12 inches from the bottom. The room was dark even with the lights on in the bathroom had a dim light so no place good to put makeup on. Light switch is outside the bathroom so if you’re sleeping at night and you’re not the only one in the room, you have to turn the light on and open the door to the bathroom and it floods the room with light. “Very disappointed in my experience. I stay in a lot of hotels and I've never been a crime victim before. I had over $100 stolen and I think the staff were in on it. I would not feel safe to stay there or have my family stay there.”

“Fint hotell som låg jättebra utifrån resans syfte. Helt ok frukost och personalen var otroligt service minded. Ett plus för gratis parkering då vi hade hyrbil hela resan. Härligt spa område som också ingick i priset. ”

“Clean updated room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, lighting in bathroom not good for doing hair. Small counter space. Good rates. So, so breakfast.”

“The walls seem to be paper thin, and I was unfortunate to have an inconsiderate neighbor who was up all night making a ton of noise. I was there for 5 nights, and the breakfast had absolutely no variety the entire time I was there, but was adequate to get you started for the day. Mattresses are getting worn and ready to be replaced, but the linens and towels were nice condition and good quality. Parking is safe and plentiful.”

“A wonderful place to feel at home away from home. Excellent hot breakfast with fruit salad and friendly conversation. A beautifully renovated large old country home in the middle of a rural village. Definitely will be back.”

“Well managed low budget hotel. Everything in the room was ok, I had a very minor issue that was fixed immediately. Toast, coffee, waffle, cereals for breakfast. Recommended if you just need an affordable place to stay and have reasonable expectations. ”

“Had trouble with our door keys working properly. Staff replaced them but still had glitch. Maybe handle mechanism is the issue. Otherwise, nice stay. Safe and convenient.”
