An very, very enjoyable stay! Linda was warm, welcoming and very accommodating. The room was beautiful, bed so comfy and had everything to make my stay excellent. The location is perfect to walk to the waterfront & downtown. LOVE this Inn!

Meadows Inn
Absolutely wonderful two night stay. Beautiful room, delicious breakfast (not chain motel cold fix your own). Breakfast served to you at your table. Linda Cooper is a great hostess. Makes every guest feel welcome. Never moved our car. New Bern a great walking town. Safe and beautiful.

Great Experience!
Staying a the Meadows Inn was a very pleasing experience. It is close to the Riverwalk and to downtown shops and restaurants. Linda, the proprietor, is an awesome person and made sure we were happy with the room and the food. The inn's refrigerator was stocked with water and various soft drinks for our use. In the afternoon, she made cookies, muffins and cakes for a snack. If I visit New Bern again, I would be sure to stay there.

We enjoyed our stay at Meadows Inn B&B. Linda is wonderful and her breakfast and coffee is excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable. We liked that we could walk everywhere and to restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back.

Always Great
This was our 3rd time staying at Meadows Inn. Just like before it was great. Location is ideal for walking all over New Bern. Linda makes you feel right at home. Always look forward to breakfast. My wife thinks we need to make it a yearly tradition.

We really enjoyed staying in Meadows Inn in historic part of New Bern. The location is very convenient, walkable to shops an restaurants and to Tryon Palace. Linda the innkeeper makes this place extra special. She cooks amazing breakfast for her guests. Linda gave us great recommendations for places to see. During happy hour we met other guests and had great conversations. Overall this place felt like home.

Incredible stay…. Linda is a great host that took care of any want or desire requested. Right in the heart of town, everything is within walking distance. Great restaurants and entertainment all within minutes. Definitely will be back!!!

Best experience imaginable
We had an amazing time staying at the Meadows Inn. I felt safe and cozy the entire time, breakfast was delicious, and the hostess was so personable. She gave us great advice about the area and turned us onto the best tours and restaurants.

Beautiful house inside and out! Linda was a superior hostess! Excellent food and our room was perfect. The bed was comfy and there was an extra blanket in the closet and a robe! There was shampoo, soap, bath salts, shower gel and plenty of towels. Our flight was delayed and we were still greeted and cared for at 3 am! My first breakfast was prepared for my husband to bring to me in bed! I would highly recommend this place and I would absolutely return. THANK YOU LINDA

Beautiful historic inn, scrumptious breakfasts. Linda is a fabulous host. We needed to leave before breakfast our final day and she made sure we had muffins and fruit to eat on the road! Highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting New Bern, NC.

We had a wonderful visit to New Bern and our stay at Meadows Inn only made it better. Linda is an amazing hostess. She made us feel so welcomed..like family. The Innkeeper, Linda was absolutely the best. She made us feel like we were visiting family. She also got us a table at the Chelsea restaurant during their busiest time!! He food is fantastic too! Highly recommend the Meadows Inn in New Bern!

Breakfasts are terrific. The innkeeper has decorated the common areas with pieces that reflect her life and travels, and guests can find brownies and coffee and wine and popcorn anytime they want it. Other guests were very agreeable.

We had the best time at the Meadows Inn in New Bern. Linda was delightful during our whole stay. Our room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. Lastly the breakfast's were wonderful, and sweets were put out in the evening for a delicious nighttime treat.

Amazing Stay!
Loved our stay! The property was beautiful and located in walking distance of the water, restaurants, bars, shops and all downtown had to offer. The daily homemade breakfasts and baked goods were a delight. Linda (innkeeper) was so kind and made sure we had all we needed to have the best stay possible. She even packed us baked goods for the road! Great stop next door at Michaels for drinks and snacks! We came to town for a wedding and fell in love with this town and this wonderful inn!

Linda and her crew have a wonderful B&B. The bed is possibly the best bed I’ve slept on while on vacation and the included breakfast is tasty and unique. I was expecting the typical bacon, eggs and pancakes, but we got portabello mushroom eggs one day, sausage and fresh blueberry pancakes another day. Each meal was just an extra bit more than expected. I can’t say enough good things about the Meadows Inn, it’s definitely one of the best B&B’s I’ve ever stayed in!

Love Meadows Inn and Linda
This is the second time we have stayed at Meadows Inn. The house is great and the location is perfect for walking the river front or down town. We really love Linda the owner. She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The breakfast is great and Linda always has coffee and snacks available. We will go back again.

Linda was an excellent host. She went above and beyond expectations in securing us a restaurant reservation for New Year’s Eve. Our breakfasts were nicely prepared and delicious. The house is full of historic charm.

This is the best place to stay in New bern. Linda the innkeeper makes the entire experience feel like you are entering a loving home and has so many extra touches such as cookies and soft drinks and wine and coffee available. The entire inn is beautiful and the decor is wonderful. Not only do you have your bedroom but there is a living room with a flat screen big tv too that you can sit in. The inn itself is in the historical part and you don’t need a car — there is free parking and you can within a 5 minute walk get to everywhere and all the attractions whether it be Union park and the river or the Palace and the trolley tour. The breakfast is incredible as a avid traveller I have never tasted such great food and it was delicious and not just boring scrambled eggs Linda is a excellent cook and she could be in a high end fancy restaurant and I told her that every day as the food she creates tastes brilliant and looks delightful on the plate! I didn’t want to to leave This is the only place to stay if you are visiting new bern. You won’t regret it and I am already figuring out when to return.

Charming Inn, great for vegans.
A perfect location in downtown New Bern. Charming building Linda does an awesome breakfast and inventively and deliciously accommodates vegans - just give her notice when you book.

Hosts Linda and Hannah were warm and welcoming to the B&B. House was a renovated pre-Civil War mansion with all modern amenities. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the place to others.
