“The breakfast was disappointing. My last stay in October there was scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon. This time there was corndogs, and biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy were fine. But corndogs being the only other hot offering other than the waffle maker, was disappointing to say the least. While this isn’t an overall deal killer for a return stay, it does put a damper on an otherwise nice stay.”

“Stayed almost a week and trash would be collected but bed not made for some reason. But had everything you need, or I need. Parking, solid bed, bathroom, refrigerator and micro. Quite busy during my stay but didn’t really bother me and plenty of parking. ”

“Oh my! This was perfect spot for visiting Downtown shops. LOVED the COURTYARD. Room was spacious. Liked the walk-in shower but a grab bar on wall would have been nice. LOVED the COFFEE SHOP next door. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“This is our go to hotel in Taylor. Staff is excellent and the rooms are all well taken care. Having breakfast at 6 am for the early baseball games is great too. ”

“Older property. It wasnt what I expected. If you’re traveling with children I would not recommend staying here. Most of the people here are construction workers… mostly stayed in my room because I just didn’t feel too safe… the beds were comfortable. I didn’t did not eat the breakfast so I can tell you how it is…”

“The staff was EXCELLENT! So nice and accommodating, called to see if we needed anything. We were there for an early morning event so they had breakfast ready early for our group. Would recommend to friends and would stay there again. ”

“Loved the convenience to Salado’s Main Street and yet since the property was not in the town it was very quiet, serene and relaxing. My favorite was sitting in the rockers on the porch and watching the clouds and the birds. The rooms in the main house are super clean and beautifully decorated. The food was fabulous and owners are delightful. Will definitely visit there again. ”
