Välkommen till Chateau Royale! En totalrenoverad byggnad i hjärtat av centrum med utsikt över Bayou Teche. Bayou Chateau ligger bredvid Chateau Royale. Vi var tvungna att titta på den här tomma nedbyggnaden varje dag. Vårt mål var att köpa och omvandla detta utrymme till en elegant uthyrning för vår gäst att njuta av. Denna byggnad användes som tryckeri, tandläkare och Dental Lab, inspelnings- och träningsstudio, gick sedan vakant och hölls inte i åratal tills vi kom fram. Denna fastighet har utsikt över Bayou Teche och ligger bredvid Bouligny Plaza, hem för årliga världsmästerskapet Gumbo Cook-off och den årliga Sugarcane-festivalen. Det är också gångavstånd till bönder marknaden, mat lastbil festivalen, närliggande restauranger, shopping och nattklubbar. Ta med din båt eller kajak för att kryssa på Bayou eller fiska precis utanför banken. Chateau Royale kommer med ett komplett rostfritt kök, 2 queen size-sängar, 2 enkelsängar, 2 bubbelbadkar, kabel-tv, gratis wifi, hårtork, kaffebar och mycket mer. Husdjur är alltid välkomna.

A jewel in the heart of the historic district of New Iberia overlooking Bayou Teche.

Great place to stay, convenient to many attractions. Walking distance to several places of interest. A very comfortable inviting vacation getaway.

Fisrst trip to New Iberia

My wife and I loved the stay, the chatue was even nicer then the description, the location was great, we had such a wonderful time while staying here. The host was wonderful and friendly.

Chateau Royale

We had a great stay! The VRBO is located in old downtown New Iberia and walking distance to restaurants, boutiques, parks, and museums. The hosts were amazing and attentive when we needed some assistance with the P4. It was surprisingly quiet being located on a street. I would definitely stay again.

Had an amazing time!! I was able to host a cookout for my family. We all gathered on the large deck. My kids enjoyed fishing the bayou. My teen age girls loved the loft, a space to themselves. Thank you for having us!!

Feels like home

Absolutely Adorable

I absolutely loved this lil place. The decor was adorable and I might’ve taken some pics of the interior for future reference in my new house. The location is great. The owners were very sweet and worked with us on needing an extra day. They own the lil place next to it as well and it’s so cute!! I highly recommend staying here.

Best ever

Second time for a visit. Love the location, the eclectic decor and all the amenities. Great outside deck to sit and watch the bayou float by, walk to restaurants, shops and bars but yet quiet at night. Soft linens, great living area and kitchen, would not stay anywhere else in the bayou country, a true taste of Louisiana.

Southern Louisiana Charm

We stayed at Chateau Royale over the Thanksgiving holidays to visit family. It came highly recommended to us from our family nearby. The experience was better than great. The chateau is clean and cleverly Cajun style with a giant back patio overlooking the bayou (not the prettiest water but that’s no fault of the chateau). Next time we go to New Iberia we will first check on Chateau Royale’s availability.

Between the location, cleanliness & beauty of this place, we didn't want to leave!!! The balcony alone was an awesome place to work or relax and enjoy! They had everything we needed except for clothes!!

Beautiful Place!

We absolutley loved the Chateau Royale! We woke up one morning at 6 am while a thunderstorm was moving thru and we got to sit on the wonderful porch and watch it move thru on the bayou. The owners are amazing! The place is clean and comfortable. Mickey and Tiffany gave us great info on the town. You HAVE to go to Victors! Its amazing food and people there. Also if your there on the weekend the farmers market!! We LOVED this place and will be back!

Stop looking. There is no better place to stay

We are pretty picky when it comes to accommodations and this place exceeded all of our “requirements”. Location, space, comfort, Internet, view of the Bayou, proximity to everything, friendly hosts, and the list goes on. All details were covered – it almost felt like we were home. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are spacious and well-appointed, kitchen has everything you need, and parking is convenient. We got really lucky finding this place when we decided at the last minute to visit new Iberia. We will come back again very soon

Return after 40 years

My partner and I came by train from Los Angeles. Meanwhile my son and his familydrove from Atlanta. We met there in New Iberia where my son grew up. The location was ideal, the lodgings delightful, and Mickey was a most attentive host. My son was allowed to bring his dog, a 14 year old mix breed and that relieved a lot of stress for the family. We were also delighted with the neighborhood cat who hung out with us. All in all we struck a good balance of visiting old friends, walking along the bayou and Main Street and just relaxing.

Unbeatable Location

This is a cool and unique place to stay downtown and overlooking Bayou Teche. Walk to restaurants, cook or grill there, and enjoy the large back deck and waterside fire pit. Breakfast at Victor’s was delicious perfectly southern and the chargrilled oysters and sushi from Bojangles was just steps away. We were there 2 weeks with kayaks. Lots of great paddling along the Teche and at Lake Fausse Point. Enjoyed nearby Avery Island and also Rip Van Winkle Gardens. The folks in downtown New Iberia are very welcoming to visitors. Take in the farmers market if you can. This is the 2nd trip to New Iberia- looking forward to another one. Mickey and Tiffany are very gracious hosts and have many great recommendations to share.

Exceptional!

Chateau Royale is truly unique given the history of the property and located looking out on the Bayou Teche. The Chateau's back porch is one of the highlights of the accomodation and offers a relaxing escape to enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine (or 2!). The Chateau itself is decorated in an ecclectic, jazzy, shabby chic kind of style and was very comfortable throughout. Mickey and Tiffany thought of everything that a family could need or want; we lacked nothing! Mickey outdid himself by being so attentive and hospitable and we are very much hoping to return post-haste to Chateau Royale and New Iberia. Utterly Charming

We love this property. My husband and I stayed at Chateau Royale for the weekend with our two teen daughters and their friend. The house is beautifully appointed. Mickey and Tiffany have everything you might possibly need available to use - even extra toothbrushes! The deck overlooking the Bayou was a wonderful way to start the day with a cup of coffee and finish the day with a glass of wine. Beds were very comfortable and the girls enjoyed the loft. We liked the proximity to shops and restaurants in New Iberia and we walked to St. Peters for early mass on Sunday. On a final note, Mickey and Tiffany are very accessible and will be very helpful with questions you might have or suggestions for activities. We will be back!
