Great space inside and out. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Met some friendly neighbors while out walking. Inside we had ample space for 5 adults in the living room area. Kitchen is a tad small, but we weren't cooking full, elaborate meals, and everything worked for us. Beds were comfortable. Great firepit area we sadly could not use due to windy conditions. Easy drive from cabin to shops in Necedah.

When we checked in the place smelled freshly cleaned and music was even playing for us. The cottage was used for a girls weekend away from our kids, so it was relaxing, quiet snd perfect for what we needed it for! There was a wonderful binder of restaurants and need to know orWant to know things. We had a great time and will likely stay there again!

All the comforts of home!

We had a great time staying at Joni's vrbo. Home was clean and comfortable. The decor was so fun! We took advantage of the nice weather, visiting friends at Buckhorn and enjoying time at the beach, fishing, and renting Jet skiis. Loved seeing the deer and wildlife local to the property and surrounding. We would definately stay again!

Spacious and comfortable!

We loved this property! Very spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were nice and dark! Location is perfect with lots of dining options and a Dollar General right down the street. Close proximity to Castle Rock Lake for boating/activities also! We will definitely come back and stay here again!

Fall Fishing Trip

Stayed at this property with my older brother and his adult son. We had an suv with a boat and two other cars and still had plenty of room in the large parking area, which is a great benefit for a fishing trip with a trailer. The lot is quiet and secluded. The property is clean and comfortable with three bedrooms and two baths. Great internet service and speeds which supported the Roku streaming. Joni is super to work with. She is very clear and prompt with all of her communications. Would definitely stay here again. As an aside, we dined out four times in the area. The Dirty Turtle, which is conveniently across the street, was by far our worst experience. The food is average at best, and the service and ambience leave a lot to be desired. It’s dark and noisy and the burgers were terrible. You can skip this place for sure. Our other three restaurants, The Woodbine (supper club, steaks) and Gordo’s (mexican) and Kozy’s (pizza) were all outstanding. We will go back to those three places for sure.

Birthday get-away

The location was easy to find. Secluded nice little get away home. When we couldn't find the roku remote we found it under the sofa. Between the cushions was gross. The bathroom next to the washer dryer when you shut the door you get locked in. Panic sets in i was ready to call the fire department. That happened 2 times. Other than that we had a great time. We will be back.

The great experience

The property was perfect for our relax/refresh getaway. Many things were provided that helped with our stay. Lots of things to do in the surrounding areas. The welcome basket was awesome with thought put into it for my 11 and 17 year old. The host was exceptional!
