Sunny Lane Cottage - Walk to Castle Rock Lake!

  • Completely furnished home located on 1.5 wooded acres. Just bring your clothes and food/drink!! 1 1/2 blks from Castle Rock Lake in New Lisbon, WI. Walk to Pine Cove and less than a mile from Dirty Turtle and Shipwreck! We have a full sized furnished kitchen/bathroom, smart TV - so you can bring your own streaming devices or log into your Netflix, etc., WIFI, wireless speaker, DVD player/movies (stored in kitchen cabinet), 2 queen bedrooms with closets, brand new sofa sectional w/ large ottoman in the living room with an extra automatic blow up air mattress in the bedroom closet w/ linens/pillows, bicycles, charcoal grill (bring your charcoal), fire pit (wood provided to start your stay), outdoor furniture, garage - with ping pong table, bikes, games, pub table and dart board, fishing poles and tackle box, and on and on. If you think you might need it, ask first because it may already be there for you. Wisconsin Dells is 20-30 minutes. We are located halfway between Chicago and Minneapolis.

My daughters, their boyfriends, and myself had the best time staying at this property. Very clean and affordable. About 25 minutes from the Dells. We will definitely stay again.

This place was perfect for our mom and pre-teen son getaway. We had a blast playing ping pong and having s’mores. Everything was thought of and provided for a comfortable stay. We hope to return sometime in the future!

Clean, clean, clean! Convenient, well stocked, great fire pit, game room, outdoor seating/deck. Quiet, nice ez driveway for vehicles with trailers Will definitely look to stay here on the next trip!

Great getaway

Very nice place to stay. Everything was clean and was great place to come and just relax and not worry about a thing. Would definitely rent this again. Everything you need was there. Jus bring your food and cocktails and you are good to go.

Beautiful Location & Close to the Dells!

We LOVED our stay here! The fire pit was amazing along with all of the seating options. The inside of the home is very roomy and the kitchen has everything you will need from pots and pans to lots of seasonings! It’s also only 30 minutes from the dells which was super convenient. There’s also some fun hiking spots nearby and some fun restaurants! We want to come back to this place!

The property has everything you could need! Fire wood, Dart board, Ping Pall Table, Bikes, Lots of Extra Towels & Linens, Pots/Pans & Basic cooking supplies (tin foil, cooking spray etc). Close to quite a few restaurants as well!

Quiet Retreat

Joni has made the details of the stay a breeze. She is an organized communicator. The home is clean and well stocked. Loved the pillow selection! The quiet mornings on the deck with our coffee was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better girls get away retreat!

Great stay!

We had an awesome time! Close enough to all the sites of the Dells, but nice and private when you've had enough site seeing, and just want to relax. The house is nice and clean, my family all agreed, it was nice and cozy. We enjoyed having breakfast on the deck in the mornings. We were there for a total of 3 nights, but there was so much to do in the area we could have stayed much longer and not been bored. Over all everything was perfect and I would totally come back!

Excellent host - Convenient location!

Joni was so flexible with us and provided very timely responses to our questions. Such a great host! The house had everything you would need to be comfortable, with many extra nice touches. We enjoyed a few days away as a family, enjoying Castle Rock Lake. We rented a tri-toon one day and a wave runner the next - a great time! Really like the Shipwreck Bay for great food, atmosphere and service.

my son and I stayed at this property on a business trip. The home was very clean, everything worked as it should. The outside areas were amazing. the grill was clean. the outside furniture was very comfortable. The host Joni was very commandeering, and very helpful!

Nice quiet get away

We really enjoyed our stay. The outside fire pit and lights were great at night. We thoroughly enjoyed being close to the many of the great bars and grills, as well as traveling a bit farther north outside of Necedah to visit the Woodbine Supper Club! So close to Caste Rock lake and Buckhorn State park. Home was well kept and had everything we needed! Just bring your clothes and food!!!

Great rental!

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental property. It was exactly as advertised and was very clean! It was also in a great location close to the Dirty Turtle where we launched our boat and had our adult beverages, and to other bars and restaurants. Joni was wonderful to correspond with and very prompt with the check in procedures. The outside amenities were also great, although we were only there for the weekend and we were so busy we never got to use them! Next time we’ll stay longer and try out that fire pit and ping pong table in the garage!

My husband and I stayed here for opening gun hunt and loved it. We normally stay at a hotel but glad we found this cottage. It was far nicer than any of the hotels we have stayed at in the area. Beautiful deck and yard. Beds were very comfortable. The place also smelled amazing. We will definitely be back!
