Great cabin!

We had a relaxing stay at Bear Necessities. The cabin was equipped with everything you could need and was very clean. I would stay there again in the future.

A beautiful home in a lovely location. Sitting on the porch watching deer graze just in front of the house was a delight. The house itself is spacious and well equipped and very comfortable. Perfect getaway in Shenandoah Valley.

Perfect Long weekend Stay

It was the perfect distance to meet family members...we are from Upstate NY and they are from NC. The cabin was lovely and cozy. The property was secluded and private. We really enjoyed our stay and will return.

Lovely Log Cabin

This home was beautiful and equipped with everything we could need. The setting in the woods was private and relaxing. The location is convenient to both New Market and Woodstock. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Beautiful home

We stayed at the home for a long weekend away and loved it so much! The house is beautiful and well equipped. Any questions we had were answered quickly by the host. The area is really beautiful and we even spotted a little fox and wild turkeys nearby. Highly recommend!

Bear Necessities

Bear Necessities is nestled in the woods near Shenandoah and George Washington National Forest. The home is cozy, clean, well equipped, and beautiful as well as kid and pet friendly. A perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the outdoors. We had a great week and look forward to being able to visit again.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

This property was perfect weekend getaway to the isolated area in the woods. The peaceful and quiet house was well maintained with everything we needed. Porch chairs were great for relaxing and watching the hummingbirds fly by.

An Amazing Place

Perfect Getaway Cabin

The cabin was beautiful and has absolutely everything you might need. We had a small accident the first night and the host made sure to check on us and offer recommendations, she was very sweet and you can tell that she truly cares about your experience. The location is amazing, a lot to do around. I will be recommending this place to everyone. Thank you!
