Hi: Thank you for your business and for sharing your feedback. We are an extremely clean hotel and do shampoo the rugs every six months as stated and just finished doing that approximately 2 months ago. The carpeting was installed in 2015-2016 when we last renovated the guestrooms and unfortunately some stains won't come out no matter how often you clean it. We are planning to start a complete bathroom renovation in January 2022 and when completed, will then start the renovation all the guest rooms again, replacing all furniture and carpeting. We had plans to start this in 2020 but due to the pandemic, have been delayed. We renovated and enlarged the lobby as well as the exterior of the building in 2020 which are now 4 star quality and were our first steps in upgrading to a 4 star hotel. We are now moving forward with the other renovations since business is improving and getting back to normal. We hope to see you back with us again as there are lots of great changes coming. We were surprised and disappointed to see your feedback, and we can only apologize that you were not 100% satisfied with your stay. You reserved a Superior King bedded room, which are our older rooms last renovated in 2016 and are very well maintained, as our reviews attest to. We are in the middle of a guestroom renovation and are currently gutting all rooms, bathrooms, and hallways, and are approximately 70% complete. The new Deluxe rooms are 4-star quality in all aspects and a dramatic difference and upgrade from the Superior rooms, well worth the nominal 20 difference in price. Eventually, all Superior rooms will become Deluxe rooms once renovated. We are also adding an observation deck for all guests to enjoy once completed. Regarding the room you stayed in, a Superior Two full beds, for a family of 4, we recommend our Two Queen bedded room, which are larger in both bed and room sizes compared to the Two Full. Currently, we are in the middle of a total gut and renovation of all guestrooms, bathrooms, and hallways. The newly renovated rooms are now called Deluxe. Eventually, all rooms will be upgraded to Deluxe 4-star status once the renovations are complete. We are planning to finish the room renovations by late summer/early fall of 2024.
