We arrived the very last minute before closing time, due to a two hour delayed flight. The receptionist were not pleased at all. Luckily another guest opnened the entrence for us so we got in. We had to sleep five people in two beds because the pull out chair wasn't made. We were still happy we didn't have to try to find something else in the middle of the night after 22 hours of travel.

We are disappointed to hear of your experience and hope you can visit us again for a better one. Our receptionists are available 8am-midnight. We provide emergency numbers out front for any guest who arrives later than 12am as well send out emails about our late check-in travelers. If you booked our Family Room which comes with one sofa bed, we do not generally set this sofa bed up unless requested by the guest. We do however always leave an extra bed set in the this room for guest who may want to use the sofa bed. Your feedback is important to us. We enjoyed our stay at the Park Ave North. It had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The property was very clean and in good condition and had all the basic amenities you would expect from a motel. The room was pretty small and the property is a little far from the sights and the nearest subway station is a little bit of a walk. The neighborhood is a little iffy but not horrible.

We arrived for check-in around 4:30 but our room wasn't ready. The room (12) was VERY small. You could barely move around the room. There were no drawers or cabinets to place clothes in. This place was VERY nosey! There's a train line just a few steps away and trains were running frequently often honking as they moved. You could hear everyone as they entered or left the premise. We could hear the people in the rooms next to and above us. The double beds are snug for 2 people. The area is interesting but very dirty with garbage and dog excrement on sidewalks and roadways. One day our room wasn't cleaned (with no explanation as to why).

Clean and friendly - can’t complain
Hard to find an affordable, good location in NYC, so this was great for that. The staff was really great. I had to call one night pretty late because I couldn’t get the front door open and the staff was accommodating and kind about it. Beds are quite firm. If you can’t sleep on a firm bed, this place might be tough. Rooms were clean, bathroom and shower was great, room size was pretty good. Had to work from home in the room for a day and it was easy. Thin walls but not so bad. Overall, you get what you pay for— it’s not highest luxury, but five stars for the cost, cleanliness, and staff. I’ll plan on staying again next time I’m in town! (A better process might be appreciated for late check in, but if it works)

A gem of a clean well kept hotel on 129th street Harlem, well maintained and good value, friendly staff. Daytime-only front desk but good arrangements - security code etc and a phone number available - for late arrivals. Walkable to Lenox and centre of Harlem in a few minutes. Advise to walk along 129th or parallel streets from Lenox rather than approach from Park Avenue as that's not so well lit. I enjoyed my stay and will stay again

La limpieza excelente, considero que sería un plus para el hotel si ofrecieran el servicio de transporte a los usuarios del hotel, como alternativa, ya que uno como turista necesita buscar alternativas que se ajusten al presupuesto y que le permitan un disfrute mayor de las vacaciones, por todo lo demás excelente y repito lo del transporte como orientación al cliente.

It was remarkably clean and fresh. The staff were very helpful with my request for late check-in help. It was also easy to find from the 125th Street subway stop.

What I like: There is everything you need in one room ( a small fridge, a microwave, a table, a TV, a heater, a hair dryer, an AC, plenty of clothes hangers, and a bathroom with wet & dry zones ) The room is not big, but full of options and very clean! What I don't like: It seemed unsafe to walk around the area (many gangsters). This hotel is next to the railway so that you will hear train noise. Compared to the price, it's acceptable to me.

The property was nice the only thing that was not good was the ac, they do not work at all and we can’t change the mode cause apparently it ruins the other acs. The area isn’t bad it’s just a little scary to definitely walk around at night cause it’s pretty dark and lonely

The hotel was clean, quiet and the staff very friendly. The area was very pleasant except for two to three blocks around the subway at 125th/Lexington - that felt unsafe especially after dark. However, this shouldn’t be a reason not to stay here - overall very good indeed - especially for the price.

Trotz Buchung für drei Personen war das Zimmer eher für zwei ausgelegt. Handtücher waren nicht ausreichend vorhanden, wurden auch nur einmal und auf Nachfrage für drei Personen aufgestockt. Am Folgetag waren wieder zu wenige vorhanden. Die Sauberkeit lies zu wünschen übrig, die Klimaanlage funktioniert nur mäßig und die Luft im ganzen Haus ist extrem stickig. Die Lage ist äußerst fragwürdig, auf dem Weg zur nächsten Metrostation begegnen einem Junkies, Dealer, Obdachlose, die auf offener Straße dealen, konsumieren, ihr Geschäft verrichten und mitunter aggressiv aufdringlich werden. 200$ pro Nacht für drei Personen sind definitiv zu viel und das „Hotel“ nicht wert!

Nice place
Hotel muito limpo, confortável e silencioso. The front desk lady was really corteous and eager to help. She explanained in detail the Subway routes and that was really helpful. The street is very silent. They don t provide water in the room fridge, but we got in the gás station accross the street. The only down side is the distance from the main touristic places, but it gets better after you get a hang of how the public transportation work. Good value for money.

When I arrived my room wasn't ready yet so I had to get ready for my day in the hotel basement/cleaning supply room which doubles as the waiting area. My room was right next to the front desk so the sense of privacy wasn't really there but luckily it was quiet at night. But the most concerning thing to me was that the chain lock (top lock) on the door to my room fell off and was useless. I told the front desk so hopefully they fixed that for the next guests cause unfortunately I didn't feel completely safe because of this. The staff on the second day was super kind though and let me take an umbrella (it was broken but it's the thought that counts) to go out into the rain and they held my stuff for me when I went to get breakfast so thank you to those staff! overall an airb&b might be better next time but it's okay for a quick visit

Comfortable Room in the Heart of Historic Harlem
Harlem is an awesome place with deep history and rich culture and this hotel is right in the heart of it. Affordable, clean rooms, good shower. Bathrooms could use ventilation and the coffee maker didn't work, but other than these small things it was a good choice.

You get exactly what you are promised. A small room at a good price. If you want a big room, spend more. Bath towels provide free exfoliation, as they feel like they're made of sandpaper. Elevated train nearby is a little noisy - but not too bad. Each hotel room door slams shut, so this can be annoying. Staff were friendly, subway was about a 10 minute walk. Room A/C unit worked well, room got super cold when temp was set low. Overall, a good value.

The room itself is great. I’m not sure about the neighborhood. The building is next to a church. But there is no hotel sign. My cab driver would not let me walk around by myself; he walked up and down the block asking people if there was a hotel on this block, they didn’t know. He left after we finally found the small building. The room was clean though, and safe once inside; the bed and pillow were so comfortable I had a great night’s sleep. Super clean.
