This area of NYC is extremely accessible for those in need. Wide streets, vehicle traffic, but moderate in comparison to other areas. Sidewalk ramps and most stores, restaurants have door buttons or auto open. Cabs and ubers of all types.
As far as the hotel, its as they describe and for the congruence between the description, photos, and in person...i rate them excellent, because they deliver what they advertise.
The room was clean. Seriously, i checked for dust on the light fixtures...neglible. A deciding factor for me was a room with a view, and ultimately why I chose to stay here. My room overlooked the meatpacking district and the river, floor to ceiling windows, amazing sunrise, sunset and skyline views.
The showers seem to be a thing in reviews. Most quibbling about how the water goes all over the floor and room. Its not horrible, if even concerning. The rooms come well stocked with towels, oversized to mini. The staff was great. The qater pressure was great. Wash your butts while looking out the windows.
