“Beautiful views and lots of space for 5 friends to hang out for a weekend and enjoy a little nature. We made use of the canoe and kayaks to explore shorelines and nearby island. Shopping fairly close in Gananoque but your GPS may take you to visit neighbouring cottages before getting back on track to the local highways. That was part of the adventure.”

“This is an authentic old country house with original, solid wood furniture and comfy chairs. It has the quirky bits of old architecture (tiny toilets) but was clean and in good repair. The stars at night were spectacular without other light pollution.”

“This stackwall building was warm and comfortable for a mid January stay. We had a great time cooking up a birthday celebration and the snowstorm outside was not a issue. Our driveway and the lane to the main road were cleared completely. The place is cozy and inviting.”

“From the moment you walk in the door the cottage is amazing, clean, has everything one could want to enjoy a weekend getaway. The landscaping and grounds are spectacular. The sound of the loons in the early morning and drinking your coffee by the fire pit or down by the platform is amazing. The Wi-Fi is phenomenal if you need to work and play! We will be back again! “The house had a well stocked kitchen for dishes,etc. we did find the fridge a bit small. There were plenty of linens and towels. All the bedrooms are a good size. Pretty location. You can also park in front of the house, which we didn’t know until we unloaded our vehicles. Right next to the local store and LCBO. Wonderful coffee shop a walk away. Very pretty little town”

“It was my sister and I that stayed at the cottage for a week at the end of September. The cottage was small and cozy, which is what we like. We had a beautiful week of great weather and we loved the fact that the cottage was on a wetland. We like to swim if we can, but we enjoyed the water fowl very much. Geese and ducks and even herons. It was a very pretty spot. We arrived a little early and the owner was still there and it was very nice to meet her. A great stay all around. Judy.”

“It was a beautiful spot. A few helpful tips for the owner… print off a book for renters, (sent a pdf didn’t print it off ) some of the information was missing, didn’t know it was a gas bbq, where to find light switches for the rooms. had to search around for hand towels etc.”

“This property is all about the view and access to the lake. Spectacular views and peaceful, quiet setting. Loads of seating on deck & around fire pit. Firewood was provided. Setup of the main house good for bigger group. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking (utensils & pots/pans). Bbq provided with extra propane tanks, if needed. The separate living space is perfect for a couple with baby/small children. As mentioned in other reviews the mattresses in a few rooms could be replaced for more...
