âClean, modern room with good shower, fridge, fresh milk, water and a good choice of teas and coffees. Good breakfast cooked to order. All in all, a very pleasant stay for one night and would return if in the area again. â
âSuperb hotel, the gardens and the harbour view are stunning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spa facilities good and felt like quite a treat. We did not pay extra for the hot breakfast and I don't think there was any need, the continental selection is very high end and delicious. Our room was on the back and quite snug but we knew that when we booked. â
âGreat location to explore the New Forrest and the Dorset Coast.
Easy acess to the M27 and M3 back to London.
Makes the return journey easier (until.you hit the M25 of course!)â

But, the room is very cold, only kne radiator for multiple rooms, old windows letting in all the cold. Worst was that there were no heating or power outlets in the bathroom. Super cold! And a very big spider lived there...
I ate dinner one evening at the mansion, it was not worth the money. Minute steak and some fries for 20 pounds. Took 5 seconds to eat. No taste. â

âHad a great couple of days at this hotel. Staff friendly hotel, lovely with great rooms super doggy, friendly and great food. Only pity in the area is the beach adjacent to the hotel is not doggy friendly during the summer. Other than that fantastic couple of days They also run a fshuttle to the Hut restaurant, which is well worth a visit. â
