Mysig 1940 stuga i Great Newport, historiska stadsdel. Vardagsrummet har en dekorativ icke fungerande spis för extra charm och ovanför det är en 42 tums plattskärm med kabel (HBO, etc). och DVD. Sovrummen har egen TV med kabel och DVD. Plus höghastighets trådlöst kabelinternet och en Bose I pod dockningsstation för högkvalitativt musikljud. Gården är stor och inhägnad gör den säker för familj och husdjur. Också njut av att gå ut på stan och lämna ditt husdjur i den säkra breezewayen. Beläget bara två kvarter från vatten och hund parken. Båt ramp tillgänglig och en kort promenad till Newport fantastiska restauranger och butiker, är detta hus i ett lugnt område men några minuter från all den roliga och spänning Newport har att erbjuda. Medan du är hemma kan du gå för att simma av van Zandt pier, ta ditt husdjur för en promenad längs strandpromenaden eller bara njut av historien om Newport, RI. Vi hoppas att du njuter av din vistelse!

Wonderful home

Kathy was a super helpful and communicative host. The house is great-charming, authentic to the town, clean, great location, cute neighborhood, really great yard for dog. We had a fantastic stay.

Wonderful Dog Friendly Stay

We had an amazing time visiting Newport and this home was a perfect place for us to stay with our two pups. The fenced in back and front yards kept our dogs safe and happy, the house was clean and well kept, the hosts were communicative about all we needed to know, and the location was quiet and peaceful while still being a convenient walking distance to the fun hustle and bustle of Bowens Wharf/Thames/Etc. We would easily recommend to anyone!

Geeat yard for pets. Location was great close to the action on a quaint street close to the water. Placement of Toilet was funky. Dirt build up in corners of rooms and especially around tub. One of the mattresses was very old you would sink to the middle could not access tv or internet

Location was outstanding—walkability to downtown was excellent. Could also walk to a small park that’s on the water, however, you can’t walk down near the water but beautiful scenery to enjoy! For improvements: Maybe newer/more comfortable couch and the ability to open windows. A little disappointing that I couldn’t open the windows for fresh air….sone people may not care but….overall house had great character and was very quaint!❤️

Wedding weekend

Our host was incredible. They were very informative and responsive. Their home was clean, and welcoming. My now husband and I stayed at this property in Aug of 2024 while celebrating our wedding and it was the perfect place to decompress before and after our wedding day. We are planning on coming back to this property every year to celebrate our anniversary and brining our dog! Please stay here!

Cute house in great location

We loved the cottage and neighborhood. We brought our little dog so the fenced in yard was perfect. We couldn't have picked a better spot for our end of summer getaway in beautiful Newport!

The location is great and the backyard for our pup was a bonus… some stuff should have been addressed before we arrived… family member may sleep in the garage, which is attached to the house through a breezeway which you walk through to go in the back yard. Showed up around 10:15 pm and started all of us, when initially we were told the night before someone (husband) may stop in around 1:00 pm to park in the driveway ( maybe getting something in the garage) we thought that was odd…it is an older cottage with nice charm could use a little upkeep on some stuff… its a rental. Overall the spot is great and slept comfortably and in a great neighbourhood!

Lovely Location, you can walk to the mansions!

My husband and I stayed and this lovely cottage a few weeks ago when we planned to do the mansion tours. What drew me to this cottage, other than the lovely look of it, was the fencing around the entire property. My husband and I have four dogs, so a fence is important. I loved the fact that the owner did not have an issue with multiple dogs. Not only is there a large back yard with fencing that allows the dogs to run around, but there's a chest high pickett fence in the front where the dogs can be let out easily. The house is lovely with two bedroom, with ceiling fans, as well as a ceiling fan in the livings room, which made it very comfortable if you didn't want to have the AC on. There's a TV in both bedrooms as well as the living room, and there's also a lovely little enclosed porch with a dining table that opens onto the back yard. The water is a very short walk from the house, and if you're a fan of history, there are so many charming historic houses in the neighborhood. Even better is that the cottage is a short walk from Bowen's Wharf and lots of shopping, if you're open to a bit more of a walk (not far really) you can walk to all of the mansions on Bellvue. There is a Walmart, a grocery stor and a Dunkin Donuts just down the road, so really, all of your needs will be met. We had a wonderful time here, and would definitely stay here again if we are in Newport. Enjoy your stay!

great location

Host very accommodating. Two blocks from water for a great walk. Great area close to all shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. Pet friendly with a huge, fenced in yard. Highly recommend.

Easy Breezy Newport

Walk to waterfront park - walk to downtown for sightseeing. If you like to walk this is a tremendous choice. As others have said - most excellent for pups and the people that care for them.

Fun little cottage & dog friendly!

This little cottage was lovely. Great location , lovely yard for our pup & a great neighborhood! It had everything we needed (minus washer/dryer)! Overall, a great place to stay on your trip to Newport!

Authentic Newport Digs in a great neighborhood

Clean and tidy easy to care for home- Furnishings are comfortable and simple chic. We thoroughly felt at home here and the house had everything needed. Coming and going to take in all Newport has to offer was so easy. Walk to water for sunset in this friendly neighborhood.This house is set up perfect for staying in Newport with dogs with a large fenced in yard and a breezeway!

Weekend in Newport

Was a lovely weekend with our 70 pound pup, and 2 year old son. The location is amazing, 10 minute walk to downtown meant the street was nice and quiet for sleeping kiddos, and easy to walk into the bustle of town. Kathy was helpful and gave some good pointers on things to do! Would recommend!

Very nice

Old house, but everything was very clean. I chose this property because it had a fenced in yard for my dog. My one complaint is not being able to use the breezeway door. That would be much more convenient than having to go around to the front.

Cute and convenient

Perfect spot for 3 people and dogs. The little house is exactly as portrayed in the listing. So amazing to have a fully fenced back yard for the pups plus the extra protection out the front door with a fence in front too. The side door into the breezeway sticks in the winter so couldn't be used. That would have been handy. Kitchen was well equipped but note that there is not a full freezer when planning your shopping. Beds were soft for my taste but not terrible. Couldn't really imagine a better spot if you have dogs and want to visit Newport.
