Very enjoyable stay
Lovely little hotel. Very friendly and helpful owner. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable bed, and a good warm shower. We were also lucky to have the most amazing view. The hotel is in a short walking distance to the beach and the city centre, but in a quiet area. You get the best of everything. Ww will definitely be coming back next year.

Initial reaction not good. On meeting owner and being shown our room,pleasantly surprised. Clean excellent view good value. Owner very helpful breakfast very good, would recommend,do not be put of by surrounding buildings

After an awful night nearby at a terrible budget place I was worried this place might be the same. I was instantly relieved as we were greeted by our lovely host who made us welcome. He soon showed us to our room which had a amazing bay window with a view over the golf course and the sea behind (beautiful sunsets and sunrises). The bathroom was nice and spacious, the only downside was the power from the shower and it not getting 'really' hot (but I think this may be an eco thing). The room overlooked the patio downstairs but was not too loud when we stayed and weren't disturbed at all. There was a small bar with the essentials stocked which was very reasonable (£2 for a Doom Bar). It's a short walk to Fistral Beach and a short walk into the town but far enough out that you're mostly away from the hustle and bustle. Would absolutely recommend!!!

Brilliant views, a warm welcome from Andrew, clean and comfy room. Fantastic location - easy walk to Fistral and town. Perfect. Will definitely be back asap.

Have visited twice now, very local to where we wanted to be, everywhere was in walking distance. Hotel is very basic and could badly do with being updated/redecorated but would still stay again. Good for a budget hotel

Nettes Hostel mit Meerblick
Für ein Kurztrip super geeignet, wenn man kein Luxusappartment erwartet. Funktionell völlig ok und der Betreiber sehr nett. Die Lage ist perfekt, man gelangt zu Fuß überall gut hin. Sensationell ist die Aussicht auf den Atlantik und die Ruhe der Umgebung! Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und konnten sehr gut entspannen! Es ist für englische Verhältnisse sauber und funktionell. Empfehlenswert! Für Familien mit Kindern eher ungeeignet.

the 1 member of staff/manager and also cook etc was a pleasant enough chap, I just found he had kind of given up on the place the decor was old, wallpaper falling off and generally felt grubby and run down, the beds were extremely uncomfortable with bed springs cutting into you, the bathroom was small and quite dirty. The hotel is adults only when it could cater for families,

Great hotel for surfers
We were at Newquay for the surf and the location of Longbeach is perfect for that. There is a little pathway from the hotel that takes you right down to the beach. The owner was very friendly and cooked us a great breakfast in the morning. Thank you very much.

Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Basic amenities but clean and perfectly adequate. Outstanding view. Quiet street. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely wish to stay again.

Quiet and Comfortable
Our room was warm and comfortable. Ideal for our friends weekend away and good value for money and very peaceful. Lovely sea views. We did not make use of the small bar and breakfast offer but I think it would be worth trying.

Excellent hotel and staff.
Excellent place, a little gem working the outter city centre of Newquay. A short walk to all beaches and local attractions. Great welcome and friendly staff. The room had an amazing view of the local golf course and Beach. Conveniently situated and very quiet.

Comfortable place with easy beach access
We had a wonderful time staying with Andrew. He made a delicious breakfast in the morning for only 5 pounds per person. The area was quiet and peaceful, only a short walk to the shops and bars of Newquay. We will surely return!

The man who ran it was extremely friendly, we managed to check in early. The room was in good condition, bed was a bit hard but other than that can't complain. Free wifi and was good wifi which was good. The tv was standard had good range of channels.

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen, Kamers met zeezicht en maar een minuut lopen naar het strand. Iets minder was het matras van het bed, je voelde de spiralen. Perfect ontbijt.

Great location
Good location 5 min walk from both beach and town,the views from the hotel are pricless. The hotel is fairly basic but the room was spotless and nothing to much trouble from the host.we requested bacon sanwitches for breakfast and received a large plate of bacon and the bread bit of self assembly required but kept us going well into the afternoon.10/10 for us on the breakfast overall very good budget hotel

Fab B&B in a great location!
This was our second stay at Longbeach Hotel and we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Newquay. Our double room had a fantastic view overlooking the golf course and Fistral Beach. Lovely hotel very close to fistral beach.
This was a great hotel for the price and I am pretty sure you wouldn't be able to get a better view of fistral beach for anywhere near to the price of this. Brilliant value and great service.

Surf shack that works
Means surfers hang out here,but all very nice, can walk to the beach, see the ocean, walk downtown, parking was good enough and free, bunk beds for everybody, ktichen and bath. I recomend it. Also good for coastal trail walks since right outside. Staff was nice enough, breakfast not included.

Family stay
The hotel is in a very old building but maintained well. I was with my family and felt comfortable. Adrew at the desk is very helpful, he event sent an email a day before to ask what time we ll arrive. He gave good suggestions about places to see. There were a bunch of youngsters who were noisy but Andrew did a good job of making sure they stayed outdoors and didnt disturb other guests.

Nice hotel with excellent view
Nice, quiet and tidy hotel. 5 mins to the beatch and city centre. View is straight on the ocean and you can even watch sunset from the room if you want.
