Amazing stay!

Spacious home with breathtaking views
Cliff House is a wonderfully proportioned space with breathtaking views over the estuary and into the sea. The location is perfect for direct access to the beach below, wandering into Newquay or rambling along the nearby Headlands towards Fistral beach. The living areas are substantial with a huge tv for evening films with the family. We all slept amazingly in the large beds. The Master suite is worth highlighting with its spectacular views, dressing room, walk-in closet and v large bathroom. The swimming pool and hot tub are great features for family time, esp if the weather takes a turn for the worse. There’s also a summerhouse further down the plot to enjoy- really impressive when the estuary is full up! Finally, it would be remiss not to mention the hosts, Anne and Bruce. Attentive to every detail. Helpful beyond expectations and lovely people to have crossed paths with.

Throughly enjoyable stay, our contact with Anne was excellent, the house was wonderfully clean and the children really enjoyed the pool and the adults the hot tub. The beech house was most useful and everyone had a great time there on more than one occasion. Would recommend this place to anyone who asked

Excellent property and location.
Everything about the property is first class. A spacious well appointed home, light and airy very welcoming. Good living accommodation, 6 excellent bedrooms very comfortable. The views from the house are spectacular, it was the ideal location fir my family to celebrate my 80th birthday. Anne is an excellent host.

Amazing
Once again our stay at Cliff House was truly exceptional, a five star experience…it’s beautiful. The new BBQ area with a fire pit was an added bonus. The view has to be one of the best views in Cornwall. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay special, we didn’t want to leave…we will be back!

Fabulous stay
We stayed at this property to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. Fabulous from the moment we walked in, I felt like crying as Cliff House was everything and more. The situation is amazing with beautiful views from every aspect. All the bedrooms were beautifully furnished and it was lovely for all to have their own en-suite. The swimming pool was enjoyed by the family and the hot tub was great. The summer house was the perfect place for pre dinner drinks. Lovely beach just at the bottom of the garden. We were blessed with amazing weather and spent most of the time sat outside enjoying the views. The hosts were very helpful. I would highly recommend.

Cliff House was the absolute perfect property for our family reunion. The house is immaculate and in exceptional condition. The views are stunning and the location is perfect for visiting Newquay and surrounding areas. Anne was an amazing host and responds to any questions immediately. We had 8 adults and 4 young children and it could not have been more perfect for us. Amazing light and space for gathering and a huge kitchen.

Great for all the family
A WHOW house . Plenty of space. Everything you need to make life easy with a mix age range from 2 to 73. (We did bring our own children’s plates and cutlery) The pool was Excellent providing lots of fun for the children . Nice big hot tub. Hollywood style vacation!
This property is exceptional. Beautifully appointed, hotel grade cleanliness. I really can’t rate it highly enough. The hosts are 1st class and clearly care deeply about your holiday experience. And the views! We would sit there for hours soaking them in. This is the best house I have ever stayed in, and you can’t help but feel like a bit of a movie star staying there. 1st class. The best
It took over 2 years to get the holiday home of a lifetime. COVID permitting we finally carried it off. Anne was the most helpful and courteous person I've ever dealt with. Cliff house was superb, the facilities suited us perfectly and the views and walks are terrific. We loved the place.

Super House
The property is set with wonderful views overlooking and giving access to Crantock Beach where our grandchildren enjoyed surfing and paddle boarding as well as the indoor pool. The house is of a size that 11 of us could almost get lost with ample lounge seating and a dining table to seat 12 in comfort. Certainly worth a stay. Even has a charging point for electic car.

Great Escape
Spent 5 wonderful nights at this amazing property with some good friends .. we visited some lovely coastal villages and other attractions such as Tintagel and Boscastle during the day and enjoyed the house late afternoon and evening … good nights sleep in luxury bedding was a dream.. would definitely go back .. and Anne the host gave us great information on places to eat 👍

Silver Wedding celebration
From the moment we arrived at the gate & on opening the front door was a wow moment! This property was everything we had hoped & wished for. Views are amazing, as are the sunsets. Plenty of indoor & outdoor space for our three generations to spread out or gather! The whole house was spotlessly clean & fresh. Our teenage Granddaughter’s were in their element in the apartment! The pool was a definite hit, especially to cool down, we were very lucky to have the hot weather. The beach was perfect & on Anne’s recommendation we hired an assortment of paddle boards & kayaks from Just surf, who delivered & collected, a great service. We had all we needed & once settled didn’t really need to leave the house. Anne & Bruce are excellent 5* hosts, answering are questions from booking, sharing information & on hand if needed. This was a perfect location for celebrating our special occasion with family & friends. We had an amazing holiday & created happy memories & can’t wait to return. Thank you.

Wonderful luxury sea front holiday home
We had a fantastic family holiday in Cliff house . 6 adults and children from 9 months to 4 years .The inside pool and hot tub were well used as was the private path to the beach . Amazing property above Crantock Beach
The property is amazing but the thing that hits you is the views. Amazing, from pretty much every room. Beautiful terrace and garden overlooking the estuary with steps down the steep garden to reach the beach, which is almost like your own little private beach next to the estuary on Crantock Beach as it’s the opposite side to the National Trust car park, and people would have to wade through the river at low tide to get to your patch. It was brilliant for having a go at paddle boarding (you can hire them to be delivered to the house, along with wetsuits) , and for the kids playing in the water. The kids also loved the swimming pool and although small, If you wanted to swim properly there is a jet that you can swim against so you don’t have to keep turning around doing lengths. We had the chef Adam Banks come to the house and cook for us one night, which was amazing (and the food was sourced as locally or ethically as possible which was great). If you wanted to, you can go into Newquay nearby but we didn’t feel the need to go very far! Loved our stay, thanks Anne and Bruce for being great hosts. Future holiday rentals will have a lot to live up to!

On looking for a house that would cater for 9 adults 5 children and our lovely dogs we stumbled across this amazing Home , Anne the owner couldn’t have been more helpful in making us feel welcome , with covid stopping us from being able to see our son and his family in the US we were looking for somewhere our 3 sons and their families could relax and enjoy being together, it didn’t disappoint , the children absolutely loved the pool and the adults the hottub, the views are stunning , location incredible , Cornwall is such a lovely place so much to see , the weather wasn’t warm enough for us to sit out at night , we did say it would have been nice to have a fire pit to sit around when the children had gone to bed but we had the most amazing time and made many happy memories , we will definitely visit again and Thankyou Anne for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home. My mums 60th birthday at cliffhouse
We had the most amazing time at cliff house for my mum’s 60th birthday celebrations with my family . Cliff house has the most picturesque views of the beach and just takes you breathe away the minute you walk inside. We had perfect weather to use the BBQ , swimming pool and hot tub . We can’t recommend this house enough for a celebration or special occasion , we enjoyed meals drinks and games around the huge kitchen table . We really did have the best time away so many facility’s this house has to offer , we could enjoy music all around the house while having a lovely BBQ in the sunshine whilst watching everyone on the beach we there fun too . We had a few young children in our group including my 2 year old daughter I found the house to be very safe for her with keys for all the doors so I knew she couldn’t get to the pool without me knowing. The hot tub ans pool what are warm and inviting from the minute we arrived . Thanks to Anna we had a very straightforward check it and a detailed rundown of how to use everything in the house it was very helpful , This was my first time using Vrbo and I can’t fault our experience . We definitely would like to come again to stay in the future 10/10 many thanks Nikita Hassall

Amazing!
From initial booking to checking out our experience was exceptional. Anne was a fantastic host, communication was brilliant and covered everything. Being new to the area, Anne couldn't have been more helpful nor made our stay any easier, communication was a pleasure. Cliff house was AMAZING and if I dare say, even better than the photographs. Walking into Cliff House you immediately get the WOW factor, the layout works seamlessly for families and the views of the beach are fantastic. It is the perfect setting for a family trip or celebration. The facilities are great with the back garden allowing direct access onto the beach. We enjoyed paddle boarding in the estuary, walks along the beach and even a Cornish ice cream. The location is brilliant, being new to the area it seemed very central. Only a few minutes drive from Fistral beach and around 30 minutes from Padstow. Well worth the wait and couldn't recommend highly enough!

Great venue even in a strom!
We had such a good time at this property! even in a storm!! I cannot rave enough about this house. Very clean inside, pool and hot tub easy to use. The perfect house for relation and fun!
Cliff House has everything you could ever want from the stunning fully resourced kitchen, to the indulgent hot tub, heated indoor pool, breathtaking views, relaxing bedrooms amongst many more beautiful features. The house provided myself and my family the Christmas getaway we have dreamed of for years. The house is big enough to be altogether but also have your own private space when needed. The house has everything you can dream of including your own private beach. Anne is an outstanding host who went above and beyond to answer my many questions. I would highly recommend the house and can’t wait to see the new build and hope to come and experience this one- will be in a warmer month so we can enjoy some outdoor living this time. Simply Amazing
We spent half term week with family ranging from the ages of 7 through to 69 celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday. This really is the most amazing property, we have been fortunate to stay in some lovely holiday homes before but this is quite simply the best by far. The views are to die for, there is so much space throughout the house meaning even with a large group of you there is space for everyone. The indoor pool provided hours of entertainment for the kids when the weather was poor. You can walk down the steps in the garden onto the beach when the tide was out. The house is immaculate throughout. The host Anne was very informative and helpful throughout. Thank you Anne for providing us with a truly wonderful home for the week, we will be back!!

Fabulous house with amazing views
We have just returned from a fabulous week at Cliff House. The house is stunning and the outdoor space is beautiful. We were lucky enough to have great weather to enjoy it. The house is situated within walking distance to restaurants and there is a great cafe next door that has a ferry service over to Crantock Bay. It was so lovely to have direct access to the beach to use our kayaks. Already missing those views.!

Amazing spot in Newquay
The property is amazing and the entire family had a wonderful time. The kids especially loved the indoor pool jet. Having our own “private beach” when the tides were just right, was an unexpected bonus. I would not hesitate to recommend this property! We enjoyed a fantastic week at Cliff House - you could not wish for more! Very spacious house with multiple areas to enjoy together or have a quieter moment - each area with lovely views. We used 'Just Surf' on the recommendation of Anne who were excellent delivering SUP and surf boards to the house - perfect for use at the end of the garden. A thoroughly enjoyable stay for multiple generations, we hope to return again - thank you!

Stunning location and views
The house is located in a spectacular location overlooking Crantock, we had a fantastic stay and the property is beautiful with everything that we needed for out stay. We would highly recommend hiring paddleboards whilst you are there from Just Surf as recommended by Anne. Hopefully we will revisit in coming years.

lovely house excellent location.On the down side there is lots of noisy building work going on surrounding the property which was annoying.

Roy, I am sorry that noise annoyed you whilst staying at Cliff House and It is unfortunate that there are 2 building sites along the same road at the moment. . This is a temporary blot, (which is out of our control) on what is usually a very quiet neighbourhood.

Splendid house in a stunning location. So much to enjoy without venturing far. We all had a much needed relaxing and refreshing time. The amenities are perfect for all: pool, tub, table tennis and we loved the path to the beach and the beds! Anne and Bruce are the best hosts taking every care. Thankyou.
