Hotell i Newton

“Excellent food, breakfast had a superb selection of cooked options, the fish and chip were exceptional- best I’ve had for a long time.”

“The staff were very profesional and very helpful. The hotel was very expensive for the dated decor and chipped paint and cleanliness wasn’t great The furniture was very dated as well.”

“Great location.”

“This is the second time staying at lea’s cottage , & on both times I’ve never been disappointed. rms are spotlessly clean, good choice of breakfast options,& evening meals where exceptional, & all staff are really nice ,would definitely recommend staying at Lea’s cottage & l will definitely return next year”

“Alles perfekt und sehr schönes Zimmer.”

“Very good B&B in Pickering. Clean rooms, quiet in night. I arrived late in the night and keys were easy to collect. Breakfast was excellent and staff really nice. No problems to arrange early breakfast on my departure day. The temperature in room was perfect for sleeping even in July. Wifi working as you expect. Next time in Pickering i will stay here. Recommended!”

“We had a one night stop here in October. The room had been redecorated reasonably recently, the bathroom also looked very modern, all very clean. A new mattress wouldn't go amiss though. The staff were very friendly and helpful, for our evening meal we had a pizza, which was ok, it was tasty and very filling. We didn't have breakfast so cant comment. The absolute best thing about this hotel is sitting outside the front having a drink and admiring a stunning view! That alone would bring us...

“Mycket bra mat. Trevligt ställe. ”

“This is the perfect B&B - great rooms, great location, great service and fantastic breakfast. We felt very well looked after throughout our stay and will definitely return.”

“Amazing stay, lovely staff, pet friendly. Nothing to much for the staff, made to feel so welcome. Beautiful village. Will definitely be returning. Xx”

“Me and my partner Ross stayed at The Cornmill last saturday and we both had a pleasent experience, Karen is very welcoming & accomodating and all round a lovely person. The room we stayed in was immaculate aswell and to top it all off, breakfast was absolutely superb! It's a 10/10 from both of us, we would highly recommend and we do plan on coming back in the future. Thank you so much”

“Gorgeous looking hotel. Already lovely but excited to see it when their plans to gain a 4th star come to fruition. My only qualms are rather thin walls to the next bathroom (you can hear the next rooms shower power unit) and the ventilation (weather was low 20s but room got full sun and with no air con it was very hot, even with windows fully open). Otherwise, tasteful decor, a really nice restaurant with super food and a beautiful location.”
