10 minuters promenad till Niagara Falls

En snabb promenad, en halv mil, till själva fallen. Gratis wifi. Bekvämt beläget nära en stormarknad och kollektivtrafik. Great Gorge Guesthouse är hälften av en duplex. Niagara Falls Retreat är gästhuset intill. Det ligger i Park Place Historic District, tvärs över gatan från Niagara Falls Aquarium. Huset är en dubbelsidig dubbelsidig familj och du kommer att bo på ena sidan. Vi befinner oss i ett urbant område som återupplivas och ligger en halv mil från Niagara Falls. Huset byggdes 1910 - det är inte nytt och glänsande - det har gamla hus sällsynta.

På Great Gorge Guesthouse kan du:

* Koppla av i det stora gemensamma området.

* Förbered dina egna måltider i det fullt utrustade köket.

* Få tillgång till gratis WI-FI var som helst i huset.

Huset har tre sovrum och ett badrum på andra våningen. Det stora vardagsrummet och matsalen och köket ligger på första våningen. Det är fullt möblerat för dig att göra dig hemma. Köket är utrustat med alla saker du behöver för att laga dina egna måltider om du vill. Om du inte vill laga mat, finns det restauranger 1 kvarter på Third Street och mer närmare Falls.

Den andra våningen har 3 sovrum och 1 badrum.

Det finns gratis parkering i uppfarten bredvid huset.

Eftersom det här är en hel husuthyrning, ser vi vanligtvis inte gästerna så mycket om vi alls bara är 5 minuter bort om de behöver något.

Huset ligger i Park Place Historic District i en typisk rostbälgsstad. Det är ett nationellt historiskt område som ligger vid Niagara Falls i Niagara County, New York. Det omfattar 89 medverkande byggnader. Det är huvudsakligen ett bostadsområde som byggdes mellan 1885 och 1928. De dominerande arkitektoniska stilarna är Italianate, Queen Anne, Colonial Revival och Arts and Crafts.

Wonderful experience

The home was clean, good communication with property owners, and the location to the falls is excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and great view of the fireworks.

We stayed at this older home near Niagara Falls and found it exactly as described. The biggest plus was the **location**—it’s within easy walking distance of the falls, plenty of restaurants, and lots of shopping. There’s even a free shuttle stop conveniently right across the street, which made getting around a breeze.The house itself has plenty of charm and was comfortable for our needs. I didn’t realize ahead of time that there’s no dishwasher, but that’s on me. (We made do just fine, and as a bonus, Walmart delivers right to the house, which was super handy for stocking up on snacks and essentials.)All in all, we had a great stay and would happily recommend this spot for anyone wanting to be close to all the Niagara action without breaking the bank.

Great experience

This was our first booking through Vrbo and it went seamless. The owner Carroll, was very responsive and shared her contact with us right after the reservation confirmation. The checkin process was straightforward and the house was very clean. The location was great. It is across form the aquarium and is only about a 20 min walk to the Falls. Five of us stayed at this property, my husband and I, with our two young kids and my mom. We all liked the property very much. The house had several amenities; the kitchen was stocked with not only dishes, toaster and coffee maker, but also some basic groceries like oil, salt, sugar, spices, etc. The owner even had some feminine hygiene products in the bathroom, which was very thoughtful of her. Overall, a pleasing stay. Thanks.

Perfect Place with Character

Our family of four had a lovely time at this duplex. We found it a great way to avoid fighting parking and hotels while having a kitchen. We have traveled to Europe and are very used to adventure experiences when we stay. We take it in stride and cherish the funky times. The listing disclosed all truths. The neighborhood has houses in various states of care. We just found it to be an old neighborhood. We felt fine walking to and from Niagara Falls at all hours. The bathroom was a little snug for four people, but we laughed a lot and it got the job done. Beds were very comfortable. If you’re tired you can even catch the Falls fireworks from the stairwell window! This place suites our needs for our short trip.

Close to the Falls

We really enjoyed our brief stay. The house was very clean and had lots of room for the four of us. The beds were comfortable. The Falls were close by and we really enjoyed all the attractions we could squeeze into the time we had there. Niagara Falls is a friendly place and we felt comfortable walking around at night around the State Park. We enjoyed seeing all the different cultures from around the world.

Convenient Location

The house was comfortable and conveniently located to the many attractions Niagara Falls offers; some within walking distance. Otherwise it was only a short drive to Old Fort Niagara and our kayaking trip location. One bathroom worked for us, as we were a group of 3.

Everything about this place was fantastic! Super clean, enough room for a family of 6 (4 rambunctious boys and at no point did we feel like we were on top of each other), and excellent location (15 minutes walk to the falls if you meander). The owners communicated everything in a timely manner and clean up/check out was a breeze!

Excellent comfort and convenient to areas of interest

Everything was tidy and clean. The master bed was very comfortable as well as the couch in the living room. We felt slightly uneasy in the neighborhood as it looked delapidated, but seemed safe enough. Overall we had a pleasant experience.

Cozy Home Close to Falls

Easy walk to falls and other sites

Our family stayed here for two nights and the location was perfect for walking to the falls and other sites. Carroll shared some nice tips for other area attractions that the family enjoyed. With three bedrooms and a comfy den, our family had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The home is accurately described, with the character and quirks of an older home. We would stay here again!

Nice house in close proximity to Falls

The house was very neat and clean and spacious and the owner Carroll was very helpful and very responsive any time I reached out to her. The only two things I can complain about are the coffee machine didn’t work and the area was not what we expected.
