Perfection near the River - 4 Bedroom with Main Floor Bedroom and Ensuite Bath

If you’re looking for a fabulous Niagara vacation then look no further. This four bedroom home offers warm décor and provides a welcoming feel to your group or extended family gatherings.

Perfection by the River is just steps from River road in the heart of the Bed and Breakfast district. The Falls, Casino Niagara, Clifton Hill and many other attractions are within a 25 minute walk.

The WEGO transportation stop is just 250 metres away and offers guest a terrific public transportation system between all major attractions for one low daily fee.

The home comfortably sleeps 10 persons in a total of 4 bedrooms. The lower level room has 1 queen bed plus one bathroom and the 3 upper level rooms have queen beds and is serviced by 3 ensuite bathrooms. There is an additional sofa bed in the living room. The home is centrally heated and central air-conditioned.

Built in 1910, this bright and airy home is typical of the architectural period.

All the modern comforts of home are here including a large flat screen TVs, cable TV, Blue Ray Player, radio, upgraded high speed complimentary Wi-Fi, patio, and more.
The large dining area is perfect for board or card games and makes a great space to reflect on the days experiences.

ENJOY A COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST

During this time of Covid, in order to maximize the protection of our staff and guests, we are delivering a hearty breakfast directly to the house. Breakfast consists of juice, muffins, yogurts, fresh fruits, meat and cheese tray, and a daily fresh hot entree item. Coffee, Tea, Water, and welcome snacks are already stationed in the house.

I traveled with a group of five. The check-in process was relatively smooth, although we were given the wrong code for the key lockbox. The house appeared to be clean, and the factual information about the house (e.g., number of rooms) seemed to be accurate. However, my group agreed that the pictures of the house were misleading in that some of the items (e.g., table lamps and a rug in the living room) were not actually present in the house. The pictures online may be from a staging and do not reflect the reality of the house. The location of the house was perfect. My group had a safety concern about the house. While the bathrooms were nicely updated, the upstairs bathtubs were very slippery, so much so that my elderly parents were unable to use their ensuite shower due to fall risk.The basic upkeep of the house was somewhat lacking. There were burned out lightbulbs, broken furniture, and unstable shelving.The breakfast food was amazing! The host asked us when we would prefer it to be delivered and, unfortunately, it was never actually delivered within the time frame we requested. Overall, it was a fine rental for our purposes. However, it could be an excellent rental with a few modification.

The place is quaint with good breakfast served everyday. There was plenty of space for everyone with comfortable beds. We were hoping for a white Christmas and we got one 2 days before and got to safely make a snowman at the backyard. Overall it is a wonderful place to stay.

Parking was easy, host was super helpful. We loved the delivered breakfast. The property is just coming online and needs a few things.-no washer and dryer, but host did a load of laundry for us. There were a lot of flies, due to time of year,but host brought fly swatters. Only a teenie tiny ice tray and refrigerator didn’t have water or ice. Smoke detectors still need to be appropriately attached. The host noted his work folks are still finishing up. Were it not for our great host I would have downgraded our rating, but he clearly is trying and he was very helpful. Kitchen was great!

We stayed here for our big family summer trip and I must say everything was top notch! The house was so clean, breakfast was served every morning at our request time and the food was excellent. John was extremely friendly, very helpful and made our stay so enjoyable. We loved everything about the house! It was perfect- accommodating for all of our needs and in a great location close to all the attractions! We will most definitely be back and staying here again.

We came for our annual "sistercation": four sisters in our late sixties to early seventies. The house was perfect for us. We each had our own bedroom and bath, and the eldest could stay on the first floor. It's on the bus line for all the Niagara Falls sights and less than half an hour drive up to Niagara on the Lake for the Shaw Festival. John dropped off a box with a hot bounteous breakfast every morning which we sometimes ate on the back patio or breakfast nook or dining room depending on our mood. One minor snafu on arrival, but John sent over folks to remedy the situation in 5 minutes. He was highly responsive to any questions about the area. One of our best vacations. We got the Niagara Parks "Adventure Pass" which got us into 5 or six things at the falls and some historic sites as well as a 3 day bus pass...an excellent deal. Shows at Shaw festival were awesome and the town is so sweet, with excellent gelato shops and restaurants. We wouldnt hesitate to come back!

We were switched to another property at the last minute

I wish I could review this property. 2 days before we were scheduled to check in, the host informed us that he had double-booked, and he was moving us to another property. No apologies. Just letting us know and that we would be receiving credit for the difference in the nightly rates. It had the same number of beds so no problem in his mind, I guess.With 2 days notice there were no other acceptable options available in Niagara Falls, so we were left with the choice of accepting this move or cancelling our vacation. We spent a lot of time researching properties and reserved this house 5 months in advance. We would never have selected the one he moved us to.It had one full bath that was so narrow it could have been located on a submarine. The other bathroom only had a sit-down shower. The 4th “bedroom” was a bed placed in the dining area right next to the dining table. Instead of being in a quiet neighborhood, it was on the edge of Clifton Hill, in the shadow of a cereal plant and across from a torn-down commercial building that is now an empty lot where hundreds of people park to visit Clifton Hill. The home did not have sufficient seating for even 4 people. It was not comfortable and negatively impacted on the quality of our trip.I leave this review, so that others are aware of this potentially happening to them when they book from this host.

Girls Annual Adventure

Perfect location to get to all that Niagara Falls has to offer with the WEGO bus system just a block away. The 4 of us each had our own comfy bed with our own bathroom! After a day of touring, it was really nice to be able to relax outside on the patio in the private backyard.An extra special bonus was the warm breakfast delivered by John each and every morning - thanks John!

5 days in Niagara Falls

PROS: House had plenty of room to accommodate my family of six. House was clean. Showers had plenty of hot water. Nice supply of coffee and tea. Daily breakfast delivery was appreciated Location of house was convenient to activities and restaurants with nice walkway near by Cons:First floor bedroom mattress old and uncomfortable, upstairs beds were good Kitchen was modern, but needed more bowls glasses, mugs, and plates.Accommodations could use some updating

It Felt Like Home

This was our first stop in Canada, and this property felt like home. It was very comfortable - for lounging and for sleeping. A grand old home with nice updates. The host was wonderful, with lots of history and recommendations. He personally delivered breakfast each morning. The location was great! A walkable neighborhood. A lovely backyard and patio. We hated to leave, but our journey continued. We would definitely book again!

Great stay and great location!

We had a change in travel plans and were able to book this property at the very last minute. We are so appreciative of John for making that happen. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Its in a cute neighborhood of old historic houses. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and a nice breakfast was delivered each morning. Some of the furniture is different from the photos, but I'm finding that to be common in my travels. Lots of old house charm here (meaning it isn't perfect) but it has lots of space, clean, and comfortable.

Great stay and morning breakfast.

The house was comforting, clean and enjoyable experience. John the house owner is helpful and provided good breakfast each morning. The location is close to anywhere you need to go or if you just want to stay at the house and play games. I recommend staying here if you are staying in Niagara.
