Familjens sommarstuga

Mysig, familjen reträtt som har 2 sovrum på övervåningen (båda har full storlek sängar), ett litet sovrum på nedervåningen som har en våningssäng (bra för barn) och vardagsrummet har en bäddsoffa som har en queen size luftmadrass. Den har ett 4-delat badrum, fullservice kök samt en gasgrill utanför. Stugan ligger på lugn gata inom gångavstånd till en vacker, privat strand. Men parkering finns i närheten och det finns ett parkeringspass för stugan, också kommer det att finnas en glassbil som kommer omkring lunchen och stannar under större delen av eftermiddagen. Vi har strandstolar och paraply som du kan använda. Havet är lugnt och under lågvatten har en stor sandbar för barnen att leka på. Fastigheten ligger bara några miles från Niantic Center, som är värd för bra restauranger, familjunderhållning, liveband och en fantastisk strandpromenad som kramar kustlinjen. Stugan har alla bekvämligheter, inklusive kabel, WiFi, luftkonditionering och ett fantastiskt utomhusunderhållningsområde. Kom och njut av allt detta erbjudande vid havet

Nice Location

This is my second stay at this house. It is a very easy walk to the private beach and just a little farther to Rocky Neck state beach. Large house with everything you need. Great communication with the owners. I had a question about the grill and contacted the owner through the VRBO app. I got a call back in a few minutes.

Great place to stay in Giants Neck! Well stocked and plenty of room. Short walk too the beach and great communication with the owners. Has some quirks of an old home, but the price of stay was very fair to the property and location.

Another great week!

We stayed again this summer and enjoyed all the cottage had to offer. The owners were great to communicate with and available when we needed help with things. The cottage was clean and having the beds made up when we got there was awesome. Can't beat the super short 5 min walk to the beach!

Great location and lots of amenities

Overall, we enjoyed this cottage and the location was fantastic. We especially enjoyed having all the beds all made up when we got there! Jenn was great and very responsive. The house had everything we needed both for the kitchen and also the beach cart, chairs, shovels, umbrella and everything else you might need. We did miss having an outdoor shower and the upstairs AC units were extremely loud and placed right over the bed. Also, we couldn't get the TVs to allow us to watch anything or watch live basic TV. We would certainly stay again as the cottage was roomy and well kept and stocked and the location and owner were fantastic.

Adorable cozy vacation home!

This home is adorable or as my kids called it (the doll house). The property is very well kept up, very clean! It catches your eyes. The inside is cozy but spacious and we are a family of eight and let me just say we all had our space in the house we weren’t in each other faces.. my teenagers were in their own world while my toddlers had all the space to play with their toys and omgeee the beach.!! Literally a 5 min walk.. neighborhood is so quiet and friendly. Back to the beach though my kids (toddlers and teenagers) enjoyed the private beach they played, they splashed in the water which by the way is low tide perfect for lil ones. It is deff kids approved haha… and you can lay out and sun bathe without being bothered or crowded. We took a ride to the boardwalk which is only about 7-10 minute ride it’s beautiful out there. Theirs restaurants to eat at. Dollar general was our go to haha.. my toddlers looked forward to seeing the train pass by. We will deff be revisiting again if Jennifer will allow us.! I must say I am missing it out there! The peacefulness is everything.

Great Location

I have rented in Giants Neck Heights before and mos t of the houses are on a pretty big hill that makes a tough walk to the beach. This house is at the bottom of the hill, an easy 4-5 minute walk to the beach. There is plenty of room for a large group to spread out, but be aware that there is only one bathroom. The kitchen is small but well stocked. There is also an outdoor patio with a gas grill and large table. Beach chairs and a cart are available for your use, which I haven't seen in other houses I have rented. The house is older, so there are things like light switches in odd paces, but the host has done a nice job labeling things. Instructions were clear for TV, wifi, etc., and manuals were available. Communication with the owner was great. Any questions were answered in minutes. Finally, if you have trouble with stairs, this place is not for you. There are rather tall stairs to enter the house and up to the second floor bedrooms. If that is not an issue, I highly recommend this house.

Summer 2023 Vacation

My mom, sister, and I stayed at this nice cottage for a week in June. It has everything you need – a fully equipped kitchen, sheets, blankets and towels, and beach chairs, umbrella, and cart. We loved the short walk to the beach, low tide sand bars, and being able to walk along Rocky Neck State Beach. Downtown Niantic is a short drive to grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. Quaint towns nearby to explore. The owner was easy to work with, and replied to questions quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Great family vacation home

This was our second stay at the cottage. (See review titled " Close to beach" ) Just like last year, we found this house clean, well equipped, with and easy walk to the beach. Will definately be back next year.

The week went by so fast!

We had such a wonderful time staying at Jennifer's property in East Lyme. She was very communicative and answered any questions that we had and gave us suggestions of things to see/places to eat. The home was clean and furnished with most everything we might need. There are a lot of steps (inside to the second floor and outside to get to the front door) which was challenging for me, but no problem for the younger ones. The private beach was very close, and my daughter and her family walked to it most days. I am 70 years old, so it was easier for me to drive to it. My grandsons, ages 5 & 7, loved the beach which was calm and shallow. Niantic was just a short drive away. We highly recommend the book stores...especially the main one on the outside of town. The boys loved the Children's Museum. We ate at several of the local restaurants, Flanders Fish Market, When Pigs Fly and Five Churches, all of which were excellent. We spent a day at Mystic Seaport. We took a drive to Narragansett, RI, and spent the day at the beach there for a taste of some larger waves. The weather was mainly cooperative and the week went by so fast! A trip to remember.

Peaceful week

The property is just lovely! A few minutes to walk to the beach where we enjoyed sunsets every evening! It made for a quiet week but our teenagers weren’t bored being so close to the ocean. Host was very responsive as well!! Will go to the area again!

Close to beach

We really enjoyed our 2 weeks stay at this lovely cottage. The cottage is located on a quiet street in a great walking neighborhood. The cottage, itself, was extremely clean with lots of sunlight making it a bright and cheerful place to stay. It was an easy walk to a calm water beach. Perfect at any tide. Everything you need for the beach - umbrellas, chairs, beach toys, and a beach cart were provided. We used the large grill to cook out as well as dining in some great local resturants. We had the perfect stress-free vacation we were looking for and can't wait to do it again next year.

Perfect location

This property was great for a family getaway. The house had everything that you could possibly need and was under a five minute walk to a private beach. It was within driving distance of many shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who’s interested.

Everything we needed for a short stay:-)

We had a great stay at this cozy cottage. The owner was easily accessible and answered all are questions right away! We had a beach pass for easy access with parking & dropping all of our beach things, however the private beach was only a 3 min walk from the cottage. The cottage had beach chairs& nice beach umbrella to use during our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Would def recommend this cottage and stay here again:-))
