De luxe luftkonditionerade 2 bÀddar apt till stranden med stor terrass och havsutsikt

En hÀrlig lÀgenhet med 2 sovrum (53 kvm) med en stor balkong (13 kvm) och fantastisk utsikt över Villefranche bukten och Cap Ferrat. Den har en rymlig salong med ett öppet kök och dörrar till balkongen.

Luftkonditioneringssystemet uppgraderades i oktober 2017 och serverar bÄde salongen och sovrummet.

Det Àr nÀra till stranden och stationen - 5 minuters promenad - och en enkel 10 minuters promenad till centrum av Villefranche.
Om tvÄ parter delar lÀgenheten, mÄste du kasta för vem som fÄr vilket sovrum. Den frÀmre har en king size-sÀng och tillgÄng till balkongen; den bakre Àr mysig - det tar en standarddubbla, bara - och har ett fönster med utsikt över innergÄrden. Du kommer att Àlska lyxen frÄn The White Company sÀngklÀder.

Köket öppnar sig till salongen sÄ att kocken inte kÀnner sig isolerad. Den har all elektrisk utrustning du behöver, inklusive en Nespresso-maskin, brödrost och en elektrisk grill som du kan anvÀnda pÄ balkongen - nÀstan en grill men inte riktigt. En frys med kylskÄp ger gott om utrymme att lagra fÀrsk mat.
Det finns ett litet bibliotek med böcker och kartor i det lokala omrÄdet, ett sortiment av DVD-skivor, en stor platt-TV och internetuppkoppling.
NÀr stationen Àr sÄ bekvÀmt nÀra, kommer du att höra det svÄrt av elektriska tÄg nÀr de passerar, men detta stannar under en bra period pÄ natten. Oftast kommer du att bli serenaderad av ljudet av vÄgor pÄ stranden och klingning av halyards pÄ yachterna i viken.
Inget behov av bil eftersom tÄgtjÀnsten Àr lysande! 10 minuter till centrum av Nice, 2 minuter till Beaulieu (med en bra stormarknad intill stationen) och vidare till Eze, Monaco och Menton, och 40 minuter till marknaden pÄ fredagsmorgonen i Ventimiglia.

Highs & lows

Beautiful setting and views, great location for access to train station and the lovely town. Not quite deluxe as described, bedroom 2 too small for the apartment to accommodate 4 adults comfortably and cleanliness of kitchen and bathroom was inadequate. Building work all around the apartment taking place day & night was a noise problem and whilst appreciating it was out of the hosts control, it would have been nice to have been warned & given the opportunity to consider if we wanted our booking to go ahead as sleep was severely impacted.

Very nice condo with a great view and a great location! Minutes to the train. Easy walk to the town with great restaurants. No complaints. We stayed a month! Hated to leave.

Incredible Spot and View

I can't recommend this stay enough. The view is outstanding and any time we didn't spend exploring we spent sitting on the patio and enjoying the view. The location was so convenient and walkable to everything in the town plus the train stop was just a couple minutes walk! It was so clean and the owners were so helpful and communicative. I wish we had stayed longer!

AAA for locatiion. 8 min walk to beacg, 4 min to train station an 10 mins to restaurants

A fantastic place to stay. Lots of amenities, didnt utilise kitchen but made good use of the binoculars to look out over the bay. Remember to bring a few garbage bags if you are staying for a week as well as some laundry powder

Can't get a better location in Villefranche!

This apartment met all of our needs, and some needs we didn't know we needed! Our family of 4 (with 2 adult children) were very comfortable for our stay, and the location to town, the beach, and the train station could not have been any better. I would totally stay here again.

My family were very happy staying in this apartment. The location was perfect, being so close to the beach, train station, and the Villefrance sur Mer harbour and stunningly beautiful old town – only 5-10 mins walk away. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and a had a homely, relaxed feel to it that was lovely. We would not hesitate to recommend it. Finally, thank you to Pat, the owner, who left an extremely informative and helpful welcome book of the apartment, and wonderful Villefranche sur Mer.

Perfect Property!

This apartment was the perfect apartment and location for our family of 4! Pat and George were super helpful before we came, while we were there, and upon leaving! The view from the kitchen, bedroom, and balcony is the most beautiful view one could imagine of villefranche sur mer and the French Riviera! No need to look any further! This apartment is just awesome and the location is just steps away from the train station, the water, shops, and restaurants but feels secluded! We will be back!

Ideal spot with easy access along the coast

The apartment was ideally situated for views across the bay. The station was also part of the view, but don’t worry you will not be disturbed by the trains (even with the windows open). But it does mean you can easily travel along the coast to Nice, Monte Carlo, Italy etc. Having said that there are walks, sandy beach and good restaurants in Villefranche sur Mer. Highly recommend Villefranche and this apartment.

Superb location with fantastic view

This is the second time we’ve stayed in this apartment block & it was great to be back. A really easy 5-10min walk to the old town & nice to be away from the crowds. The trains just in front & below the apartments are frequent but being electric (apart from the freight trains) are fairly quiet & not intrusive (& very handy!). The apartment is well laid out & very well equipped, including good supplies of kitchen store cupboard ingredients. Beds & bedding all extremely comfortable. Perfect for a couple, slightly cramped for 4adults. Next door neighbours very audible (TV all day & other sounds through the walls) but that’s an inevitable risk when staying in an apartment block. Bit dusty on arrival but otherwise very clean. Definitely recommend.

Amazing views

This is such a fantastic location and apartment. Steps from a great beach, the convenience of the train station, the view from the patio — we were tempted to never leave. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to have both some relaxing down time, and still some day adventures to nearby Nice or Monaco. Did I mention the view from the patio?

Lovely home away from home

Lovely property well equipped with utensils and basic pantry supplies. Minor maintenance issues attended to rapidly. Close to rail station, but electric trains so little noise- was not disruptive. Walk to beach and shops.

Fabulous views--fabulous apartment & Villefranche sur Mer!

The apartment is exactly as it looks in the pictures. It is well-stocked, the patio is huge, the views are fabulous and everything was great. The beds were fine, but could have been turned or flipped or something--they did not cause me any pain or to lose sleep. We loved this apartment and would come back again and again if we could. The village and the location were all perfect and Pat and George were fantastic! It was so difficult to leave.

Lovely apartment over looking the sea

This was our second stay at this apartment and it was as good as the first. It is in an excellent location right by the train station and only a ten minute walk to shops and restaurants. The apartment is so comfortable and nicely decorated. My favourite spot is the balcony that overlooks the sea and the old town. Villefranche-sur-Mer is such a lovely town and is a great base for day trips to other towns such as Eze, Cannes and Nice. Our hosts were wonderful and helpful. I know we will be back!

Very comfortable apartment in great location

We loved the apartment. Villefranche is a lovely place with lots of amenities close by. Close to the train so it’s easy getting anywhere. Pretty quit location- as other reviews have said, noise from train not a bother for us Hosts are great communicators.

Wonderful stay

Lovely apartment, with beautiful views over the Mediterranean Sea. Each morning we enjoyed our coffee sitting on the porch and watching the activity around us. We had returned our rental and made use of the train service. Just a short walk to the station and two stops from Nice, which we did frequently. The train service was excellent, with limited waiting between trains. Pat and George were very accommodating as we had a very early check in so we could drop off our rental in Nice. This was our second stay and we hope to return again in the future. The apartment was very well stocked and even had a nice welcome of bread and fruit and milk. A comfortable stay. Mabel and Glen

Heerlijk appartement op goede locatie

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf op een van de mooiste plekken van de Cote d’Azur. Mooi uitzicht, prima bedden, alles goed verzorgd en prettig. De treinen rijden af en aan voor je neus, maar maken relatief weinig herrie, omdat ze elektrisch zijn. Vooral de piepjes van de deuren die dicht gaan zijn iets hinderlijk, maar het went snel. Minder last van dan van een drukke weg, ook omdat ze ‘s nachts niet rijden. En er staat veel tegenover doordat je dicht bij het beste en mooiste strandje in de buurt bent en ook makkelijk de trein neemt voor bezoek aan Monaco, Nice en supermarkt in Beaulieu. En ook vlakbij vele restaurants in het mooie Villefranche sur Mer. Vriendelijke eigenaren die Engels spreken.

Great view

The property was in a great position. travel easy with railway station 100 mtrs away. Description of 2nd bedroom being a cosy bedroom was a little conservative. The bed is against the wall 1 side and leaving 9 inch gap the other. This room in my opinion is for a single bed. The property is advertised as having satalite tv, however only sky news is available. The towels that were supplied were of good quality, but a change mid week would have been nice as 7 days is just a bit to long. Overall the property seems to be a bit to lived in as it is cluttered with personal items.

Wonderful

What a wonderful stay! The accommodations are as advertised. In fact, our expectations were exceeded. I had been concerned that the view might be obstructed by the train wires or I'd be bothered by train / vehicle noise. Not at all. The view was incredible and the trains are electric and thus quiet. Virtually no vehicle traffic as the road next to the building is a dead-end. It was very quiet, which we enjoyed. The location is very close to the train station, and we easily went into Nice, Beaulieu-Sur-Mer (For groceries at the Super U), Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat (to visit the gardens at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild), Menton (very nice sea-side town), and Ventimiglia in Italy (for gelato). And of course we spent a lot of time in Villefranche-sur-mer, which is lovely. We spent a couple of mornings just sitting out on the balcony, watching the sunrise, relaxing and reading. Note that the washing machine is a French Top Loader, so the barrel doors need to be closed correctly for the wash to proceed properly. (We made the mistake of not doing so, and this resulted in an extra visit by the host... lesson learned!) Pat is an excellent host, and went above and beyond during the holidays to give us detailed directions and help us when we had questions. The accommodations are clean, modern, and a good size for a couple. A very rejuvenating trip. We hope to come back and stay here again in the future.

Miss it already

We loved staying at this property! My husband, daughter and I were meeting my son at the Nice airport and the three of us were delayed getting there (bad ratings for the airlines!:( ) and George the owner was kind enough to pick up my son, drove him around for a tour of the town, and then brought him to the property to check him in and show him all the things we would need to know about the apartment. We REALLY apppreciated that! Pat and George's property was just as shown online and the view from the large patio was even better. The train runs right below it but seeing as we didn't rent a car, it was so convenvient to have it so close. The noise didn't bother us at all when we were in the apartment. In fact, we missed the peacefulness of this property after going to an apartment in Nice a few days later. Not quiet and peaceful in Nice! The town of Ville Franche is so pretty and easy to walk to shops and restaurants from the property! Overall, we were very happy and would definitely stay here again! Thank you Pat and George!

Brilliant apartment in a fantastic location

What a great place. The communication with Pat was excellent ahead of the trip and George met us and gave us a great tour and description of the flat and area. We really enjoyed staying here. Very comfortable and a great location. right next to the train station and the beach and a short walk to the supermarket and restaurants. thank yoy for having us.
