We had such a lovely time at Mont Boron. We couldn't help but feel at ease in the various outdoor spaces, which are well thought-out for dining, playing in the pool, and relaxing. Delia, the property manager, was helpful and accommodating. Remember to coordinate your arrival with her (we didn't do the best job, and she was still awesome about it). The view is breathtaking and you have a lot of privacy. We would definitely stay again.
With air conditioning and cozy beds upstairs, we were able to sleep comfortably. Even though it was hot early in our stay, we were able to manage the warmth on the main level with no problems using the shutters. The only exception to comfort in the whole place is the weird, hard to sit on, modern couch in the living room that doesn't fit at all with the rest of the house.
We did not have a car, and very much appreciated the nearby bus stop with frequent service, which we used to get around everywhere. There is a nearby basic grocer and pharmacy. The only food in walking distance is not the best, and there isn't a boulanger or patissiere nearby, so be prepared to shop while you're out and bring it back.
People considering the property should be aware that this property is not for someone with mobility issues. There are many stairs and no handrails. All the exterior doors have a threshold to step over. This is probably typical for the area, but a consideration for those traveling with older or mobility-impaired people.
