The property is situated in the Ayios Antonios neighbourhood of Nicosia just outside the Venetian Walls. The neighbourhood extends within the Walls as well and it is a mixed residential and commercial area. It is one of the 24 historic Neighbourhoods of Nicosia within the walls and in 1923 it was extended to encompass an area outside the walls. It covers 97 streets in the south-east corner of the municipal area of Nicosia. Ayios Antonios is a charming neighbourhood that boasts a rich cultural heritage. Around the property you shall find plenty of trendy Cafes, Tavernas and Restaurants, mini markets, pharmacies and many more. A full list is provided in a leaflet in the property. The area boasts nearby the Archbishopic Palace, the Ayios Antonios church which is about 3 feet below street level, the Hadjigeorgakis Kornesios House Museum, Othomans baths and spa and many more attractions. The OXI open fruit and vegetable market which operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays all year round is only a stone’s throw away. A bus station is only few metres away and there is also a walkway that can take you right in the heart of Nicosia and Eleftheria Square to explore more sights.
