Great place!
We have stayed at the property multiple times. It is a great place! Quiet, but still close to Nauvoo! Would recommend!

Made Nauvoo trip special
Shared Vrbo with close friends family and it let us put our kids to bed while we enjoyed games. Comfy bed and owner was very responsive and easy to work with. There was some things we picked up in the yard but it was easy in and easy out. We hosted about 30 people one night for an Easter egg hunt and it was awesome for that. Will stay again.

Delightful
We arrived at our country cottage at night. Easy entry and spacious area. Beds very comfortable. Sheets exceptional. Total accommodation was beautiful and comfortable. The night sky was truly an added bonus. The birds were also exceptionally happy. Highly recommend it. Host was most accommodating.

The perfect home away from home
House had all the amenities we could have asked for. Our stay was wonderful and Jordan and Morgan were wonderful hosts. They were very responsive when we had a question or a need. We appreciate their welcoming efforts. We hope to stay here again soon.

Little Slice of Heaven
Great communication and quick responses from the start! The house was perfect for our group. Great kitchen table so we could all eat together and play games into the night. They provided everything we needed plus more. The lofts were so fun and the 2 bathrooms were big. Very clean property and would absolutely stay here again.

Nice house in the Country
We enjoyed our stay in this older farm house. It is in a beautiful country setting which is only about 15 minutes from Nauvoo. The owner is responsive and cares about his guests.

Good place for the price
The owner was great to work with. The home was big enough to fit our group of 12 comfortably and had an open layout in the living room and dining room. The location was 10 minutes from Nauvoo. It was an older home and had stray cats that hung around the property, and the living room rug smelled like cat urine. There was also ants in one of the lofts and in the bathroom.

Soccer tournament refuge
Youth soccer tournaments in Burlington are notorious for having very few hotels available, so I highly recommend this place for folks looking for an alternative. About 25 min from recplex. Tons of beds for kiddos.

Perfect for our trip to Nauvoo
We loved our time at this little house in Niota. The kitchen is as well stocked as any we've ever seen and the kids had fun with the games in the cabinet. We appreciated the great communication with Jordan and all of the couch space to watch Conference on. I hope we get back to Nauvoo and if we do, we'd definitely stay at this property again.

We totally enjoyed the cottage. It had plenty of room. The kitchen and bathrooms were spacious. It has a country style with a little modern flair decor. It was peaceful. We felt safe. We would stay there again.

Mini Christmas vacation
This was a great stay for me and the grandkids. It was just a little mini Christmas vacation and it was wonderful place to say just to unplug from and it all went great. We had an unexpected visitor on our first night, somehow a raccoon got into our van, and that was fun and interesting but other than that it was a really great time and I would recommend it for people wanting to just get away relax and I would definitely go again as I have already been there before.

Spacious Farmhouse - Great for Families
The farmhouse was perfect for our family. The location was perfect- easy to find and very quiet. Check in and check out was a breeze. Our family was able to relax and everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in! The large farmhouse table was nice for games and breakfast in the morning. We would highly recommend this listing to anyone staying in the area!

Quiet, relaxing stay…
The property is kind of remote but is within a short drive to gas or a Dollar General, should you need something. The beds were comfortable! We did not cook while there but if you plan on cooking, the kitchen is well-stocked with anything you would need! We enjoyed our stay!

Great home
We were pleasantly surprised with how roomy this home is. The yard was also such a great asset. We loved playing outside after a day out. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of being out in the country. Jordan was very responsive when a need arose. We would happily rent this home again

Lovely and quiet
We loved staying at this property. It had plenty of space for our family of 7. We sometimes have challenges finding room for our kids to spread out and have privacy, but we had no fuss here! I wouldn't definitely recommend for families.

It was the perfect size for my family of 8. Beds were actually comfortable. Great that the table fit all of us lol. We liked that it was quite and out in the country yet close to alot of different places and things to do. Was a neat area with alot of history to explore. Everything you would need is within 10ish miles. Only negative things I have to say about staying here was there was only 6 bath towels and the kitchen didn't have many cooking utensils. But there was a washer an dryer so not having enough towels wasn't a huge deal. Just would of been a little easier on us. Otherwise all and all can't really complain about the house. The house had a lot of extras of things and I thought it was really awesome they had a bunch of dishes for children, a height chair, and pac n plays.

Hi Gabby. We are sorry about any misunderstanding about the towels. The booking came through listed as for 6 guests, so we only put out 6 towels. We certainly would have put out more towels had we known there were additional guests. Thank you for the comments about cooking utensils, we will have to check if anything has been broken or gone missing so that it can be replaced. Thanks!

This the home is a nice place to get away and just be secluded if you're just wanting to relax and not go out and sightsee it's peaceful. I had one little concern but it wasn't nothing big to make me change my mind, this was a great place and a great price I would definitely go here again.

We loved staying here for a quiet weekend getaway. The cottage was stocked with all the essentials, but it was kept clean and tidy. If you need beds and common areas and a quiet place, then this is well-worth the money. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful Home
The home is better than the pictures and descriptions. The home was very clean. The beds very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Check in was easy. Communication with the home owner was great. Very pleased. I would highly recommend this home. It is very close to Nauvoo. Yet it is out in the country side. I went running every morning we stayed at the home. Wonderful place. I will definitely stay again when visiting Nauvoo.

Quiet Country Experience
While a little limited on conveniences (e.g. just 2 bathrooms for 4 bedrooms), this home comes very reasonably priced and provides a great place to get away and be together. Jordan is great at keeping in touch and responding to any questions/issues. And although most of the home is pretty old, it's maintained well and clean and adequately stocked.

Perfect Spot for a group trip to nauvoo
This property was incredibly clean and had comfortable beds. The location was beautiful and hidden from the world, but was only a 15 minute drive to historic nauvoo. Management was easy to get ahold of and was very helpful. We would definitely stay again!!

It’s away...
An older home far away from city life, near nauvoo and the Mississippi. There’s a few small towns across the river in Iowa, otherwise, you can lose your stress after a couple days of the nothingness. The house itself was adequate, but had no real character It has all the supplies you expect and need when there’s nothing around for a few miles. The tv is Roku only and the WiFi works if you must be connected 😉. This is a place for just being away from it all. Which is exactly why we liked it.

Girl's Trip
The property was very nice. Very comfortable and peaceful. We were just close enough to take a drive to different cities in the area to see the historical sites. Not everything was open but it did not stop us from doing site seeing from the car and visiting some beautiful parks. Jordan was AWESOME in responding to any questions we had.
