  • Located in NOHANT, less than 5 minutes from the Romanesque chapels and medieval castles but also less than 5 minutes from the amenities offered by the town of La CHATRE, the REPAIRE du MOULIN NEUF has the particularities of being the authentic "home" of the heroine of the novel "LA PETITE FADETTE" and of having its doorstep at the foot of the sunken path that George SAND and his famous friends regularly took in search of rejuvenation on the banks of the river.<br>Once in disuse, the 18th century Berrichonne, refurbished in 2022 in the "21st century" style, is bathed in a bright green setting bordered by the Moulin Neuf millrace and the INDRE. <br><br><br>A privileged access route to absolute tranquillity, the typical Berry cottage offers a furniture and a framework of use at the height of its remarkable environment.<br><br>Heated all year round with electricity and in autumn-winter with wood, the house, with a surface area of 70 m2, extends over 3 levels.<br>• the first floor: with main entrance leading to the LIVING ROOM around the panoramic wood stove – the fitted kitchen open to the living room (dining area + relaxation area)<br>• The mezzanine floor: with bedroom 1 (1 double bed) & bedroom 2 (2 adult beds)<br>• Upstairs: with the "Reading, HIFI & TV" lounge area (sofa bed, poufs) and the bathroom (toilet, sink, multi-jet shower cubicle, washing machine).<br>Divided into a 2nd service entrance in the basement on the garden side, the accommodation also has a beautiful "storage & laundry" space (sink + dryer, ironing facilities / 2nd fridge-freezer).<br>The house leads directly to its outdoor amenity areas: the private parking lot and the spacious bucolic garden with a barbecue area and picnic table under a parasol, a terrace with a "relaxing sunbathing" and a shaded terrace with an outdoor lounge.<br><br>Aligned with the spirit of serenity emanating from the cottage, the accommodation service of the REPAIRE du MOULIN NEUF includes:<br>• reasonable and reasoned electricity consumption (up to 12 kW-day from 1 May to 30 September, up to 30 kW-day from 1 October to 14 May)<br>• from 1 October to 15 May, additional heating with access to the use of the wood stove and supply of firewood (fire starter, "kindling" and 8 logs 50 cm/day)<br>• Internet access via ETHERNET & WIFI<br>• the supply of KITCHEN, BED & BATH LINEN for 4 people, <br>• Loan and assembly on request at the latest the day before the arrival of a cot and high chair for young children

Gite très agréable situé au coeur du pays de George Sand, au bord de l'Indre. Aller à pied par un chemin magnifique à la Maison de George Sand est un bien précieux dont on se souviendra longtemps tout autant que la rare qualité de l'accueil.
