Marcela (property owner) was wonderful and friendly, her parents were there as well and also very pleasant. The place is VERY clean and in a GREAT location. Never had any safety concerns within our room or on the property. Property is simple with nice decor, and plenty of seating around the pool and outside each room for al fresco dining. Going during off season was nice, not over crowded anywhere we went and still great weather! Property is well maintained, but they took advantage of off season to do repairs so we had to deal with workers there for (3) days which caused us to leave more then we planned on but not big deal. Showers are not hot but certainly good enough (kitchen water not hot at all, but used the soap and sponge provided). Not a place to go if you expect perfection, towels changed once during (8) day trip and sheets were not changed, both fine by us and not expected at all. We were looking for cheap and simple and we got more than we could ask for. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware, and dishware and if you missed something you could ask a neighbor (within the location) and they usually had it in their room. Grill was available for everyone's use, only issue was one other guest never cleaned it when done which meant we had to clean it every time before and after use. The only microwave is located in the outdoor kitchen and is practically new with high wattage so that was nice. Rooms kept reasonably cool temps when A/C was off (when gone) and got cold quickly when we turned it on upon return. Our room (king) had water pressure issues in sink (but not a deal breaker) but my sisters unit (studio) was fine. Every room had a different layout which kept it fun. Only wish that a few things were included such as beach towels, cooler, and perhaps a beach chair or two. We did know this in advance and brought our own but would have made packing easier. We suggest packing your favorite spices, some are available but the humidity effects the product. Internet was strong and good, TV only offered a few channels but we weren't there to watch TV! Two cats on the grounds, the white one likes to say hello and check out your room, while the darker one is less social but both fun to watch especially early mornings. I fully rate this place a 5 and will certainly return!! Host was so kind and repeatedly asked us if we needed anything, she also connected with me after booking via WhatsApp which was easy and helpful.
