“The Pecos Trail Inn is a gem. Even before arriving the Innkeepers were in contact with information about the Inn, and open to any questions. The Front Desk staff were very helpful, friendly with great attention to detail. We enjoyed our short stay in the lovely well appointed room, Overall the grounds were well kept and orderly with a nice swimming pool. We highly recommend. Hope to visit again soon.”
“I travel extensively and don’t normally write hotel reviews. But this time I feel compelled to do so because I feel like this hotel is vastly over-rated (as it is, at best, a 3-star rather than 4-star as listed) and over-priced. The issues were numerous—none of which individually is a big deal, but none of which I would normally see in a 4-star hotel, and one of which is unacceptable at any hotel of any level. The latter is the fact that I found a long black hair on the bottom sheet of my bed...
“The room is expensive for what you get. My room was okay until there was a leak in it the second morning. It was not handled by the front desk.
I had noticed the day before there was sheetrock missing from the ceiling above the tub. I awoke to the sound of dripping water and discovered water coming from the ceiling in the entry way. I put a towel down and called the front desk to report it. She said she'd let someone know. I was just hoping it was clean water and not a toilet overflow on...
