Although it is the first house off the lake - it is quite the walk to get to the water. “We were so happy with the property, the perfect getaway with our pup. The back deck was great for an evening glass of wine and we were surprised to see two pairs of swans gliding along the lake our first night there. Our pup had fun chasing the boat waves while we relaxed on the shoreline. Close to so many great dog friendly places. We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future!”
“It was such a lovely location, very clean and close enough to civilization to have access to anything we could want, but far enough away to help us feel relaxed. My only suggestion would be to bring your own natural fiber sheets if you don’t enjoy sleeping on polyester”
“The cottage is so cozy and clean, and the bed is comfortable. The creek, woods and farm also made for such a peaceful stay. The owners have put so much thought into making the cottage and yard a beautiful retreat. If you like walking in the woods there are two county parks close to the cottage. And..you will eat the best cinnamon roll in your life!”
