“We picked the hotel because it sad it has quiet rooms. We get room 005 and the room above us were draging around furniture or something late at night for about 2 hours. And whenever someone flushed the toilets it sounds like a big warerfall.
So if you can, pick another room.”
“Ingen frukost lite synd.. o bara 3 pl till park..men det fanns flera att ta lite längre bort .. personal fanns där hela tiden..bytte handdukarna när man ville..”
“Wonderful accommodations. Stayed in one of the front rooms of the guesthouse, which has a beautiful view overlooking the town. Comfortable bed in a quiet room made for a great night’s sleep. Hosts were very friendly and helpful in giving recommendations of places to eat and things to do in town. Highly recommend The Herring House for your stay in Siglufjörður.”
“Bodde två nätter. Ingen skidåkning för mig. Sov i ett 6 personers rum men som tur var, ensam. Trångt kök och en toalett med sunkig duschkabin. Dag två vällde det in 10 skidåkare som dock försvann kvickt tidigt på morgonen därpå. För större sällskap som delar rum är det nog ekonomiskt och skidåkning finns det, men för singelresande kan det nog bli frustrerande att dela rum. Nu var det ju väldig lågsäsong skall påpekas. Inget toppenställe men ok för pengarna om man tänker snålt.”
“The place architecturally isn't "beautiful" or "luxurious". However, it is sparkling clean and has all the amenities you can think of. Everything just works. The staff are super helpful. I had some laundry that needed to be done and they were able to help me out. I had some things that needed to be air dried and they were able to accommodate. The next morning, I was able to pick up my clean and dry clothes.
The breakfast was also quite good and was a true buffet.
