The only negative experience was the unclear instructions for collection of keys which was at an office in town. “We loved our stay at this hotel. An amazing authentic atsmofear with a public bath with a view over the mountains and a great Japanese breakfast. Nearby you have temples that you easily can get to via bus. We got recommended a great yakitori restaurant not far (with a cab) from the hotel. Our stay in Kyoto would not been the same without this hotel. The service was perfect and the staff was so kind and helpful.
