“I’m sorry to say that our experience was very disappointing. The rooms were not clean, and we actually asked to be moved from our first room because of large stains on the carpet. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t much better. The next day, we saw that they were cleaning the carpets in our original room. We couldn’t help but wonder why it took a guest complaint for this to happen. The stains were large and obvious and should have been addressed before the room was ever given to a guest. The...
“First off, the picture for the place is NOTHING like it actually is. The building is completely run down, and needs a lot of work. Peeling paint, worn out walkway, old furniture, etc. The wifi didn’t work. At least it was clean inside! I won’t be staying there again anytime soon….”
“There is construction on the hotel site and no access to Lake Tahoe on the property. You have to take a shuttle bus to an offsite location to access the lake.”
“It was our 45th anniversary and we came up from San Jose for a nice getaway.Our 3 night stay in May was so nice! Riley answered all our texts or any questions we had.We spent time in Truckee, Tahoe City, South Tahoe and Kings Beach. Did a lot of shopping. Breakfast at Cornerstone Bakery Cafe in Truckee which was delicious. We had a sweet stop at the Log Cabin Ice Cream shop in Kings Beach.
