This beautiful house in Wrang, is a country house that’s been in the family since the 50s. The old house was formerly an old boat house from the 19th century located at the lake Hjälmaren, Fröshammar. It was transferred and reconstructed on the site when the family bought it by a local carpenter. The owner renovated the house and built a home addition, designed together with an architecture office from Stockholm.
The house is the perfect combination between modern architecture and traditional scandinavian country houses. The old and the new design embrace beautifully in this cosy and bright property.

There are all together three bedrooms, a mezzanine, that also can turn into a sleeping room. The master bedroom has a wall window into the nature, so the modern bathroom with a glass door lookig into into the valley. The kitchen is very well equipped, with an Italian gas stove, oak, and marble tops, two tables for common dinners and breakfast. Enjoy the large field in the front and in the back of the house where you can have a snack or lunch during the day, the 100 years old functioning sauna, the veranda for sunsets and the barn full of tools and antiques.
The house is in a very peaceful landscape where you can have your privacy while at the same time being only five minutes from an enchanting lake for swims, or to the see and town with a picturesque center.
There is access to a glass house for fresh herbs, a garden with veggies, fields, forests, lakes and archipelago. Good public transport connection, it is 50 min. away from Stockholm by bus.
The renting of a motorboat is possible with a separete contrat, deposit and licence.
