“We have been staying in this hotel several times when traveling to Chicago. Nice and quite place to stay. This time, we were first given a room on the first floor, next to the bar and swimming pool. It was very loud. We were then asked to move to an upper-level room and the front desk then changed the room. ”

You can walk to the hotel from there( at least if you are European..) just a few hundred metres. They have a shuttle to/ from the terminals, but we walked to the train in the morning as well. “Edvard Hotel Chicago is a good valuable hotel for someone that does not need a lot of restaurants and activities close to the hotel.
It is very good for an overnighter that will fly out within a day or two.
The service is very good, nice and service minded personnel. Breakfast is okay.
Having said that , there are opportunities for improvements. For example, repair, install new gym equipment and some other worse out parts of the facility. It would also be appreciated if table settings in...
“This is a nice place to stay waiting for the plane to depart. However, it is very poorly sound insulated. I could hear people talking in the room next to mine and I also woke up from the snoaring of the guy in the room next to mine! So a strong recommendation: bring ear plugs! Breakfast is a basic American breakfast, i e a lot of sweet stuff (frost flakes, pancakes with syrup etc). The staff at the front desk are very helpful and friendly.”
