“There’s a Dunkin across the street and QT down the street. Plenty of food options nearby. Bed was comfy however my only complaint would be that the pillows were to small. You could smell the clean everywhere you went!! ”

“The room was very clean and spacious for my family of 4 to stay in. The service was helpful and nice with any questions we had. Check in process was quick and efficient. My kids loved the little indoor pool area, and breakfast the next morning was great and had options for all my little picky eaters. :) ”

We love the historic look of the Balsam mountain Inn, we learned that it changed ownership a few years back and the new owners are looking to preserve the classic look that appeals to everyone so much. They want to keep it as original as possible which is great, the down side of that is they removed the window units from the rooms. “Enjoyed outdoor seating and breakfast! Bed was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Towels were nice and we appreciated extra set from the beginning. Although the room was large and had been cleaned, there were a few stains on the carpet and the dresser/console had several nicks, paint touch-ups that were noticeable. ”
