Skidhotell i North Carolina Mountains

“This cabin was perfect for our fall weekend getaway. Location is perfect - feels secluded but just a short drive to both Blowing Rock and Boone as well as many nearby trail options for hiking. The cabin itself is just as described. Kitchen and bathrooms are updated, and the living areas are cozy and nicely furnished. The beds were very comfortable with memory foam mattresses, and linens were clean and fresh. Kitchen was well stocked with basics and everything was spotless when we arrived....

“Spaciousness and view the best things. Amenities were VERY limited, and when some yahoo rode by oou patio on some kind of ATV for an unexplainable reason at 8AM the morning after we arrived- that woke us up. 'Popcorn and a movie' the following night was equally disappointing. Yes, the movie played, but no popcorn offered, and the latte machine near that area didn't work. Staff was friendly and as accomodating as they could be, but this place is still a work in progress.”

“Bokade två nätter på hotellet pga festival i staden (Maggie Valley) och rummet funkade utmärkt för detta. Fick ett rum på andra våningen där baksidan leder ut till en delad terass med utsikt mot bäcken. För en svensk känns det alltid lite konstigt med heltäckningsmatta, men rummet och badrummet var alla rena och städade som sig bör. Det var inte knäpptyst i området då motellet ligger vid vägen, och det kommer en hel del stora motorcyklar som bland parkerar vid hotellet vilket den...

“Of course the building is old but in pretty good shape!! You can just feel the history and image what it was like many many years ago! Great food and the Bartenders were the best!!! My wife and I will be back!!!”

“The place was not properly cleaned, we found new years' party hats under the sofa (from the week before), food stains on the walls in the kitchen, a badly cleaned bathroom floor. Just not what you'd hope for, but the place was really good in all other aspects. ”
