“Var här för min sons examen från Young Harris college. Det är en underbart vacker natur här som inbjuder till uteliv av alla de slag. Personalen är vänlig och hjälpsam. Frukosten är typiskt amerikansk men utsikten från uteplatsen är bländande och gör upplevelsen väldigt positiv. Min familj bodde här i tre dagar. Vi hade två rum med innerdörr emellan oss. Det fick vi hjälp att boka om på plats när vi insåg att det var en möjlighet. Det är nära till en mängd olika uteaktiviteter tex golf, tennis...

“This was our first trip to 1927 Lake Lure Hotel but not the last I hope. Staff was excellent and so helpful. The room was very clean. The whole property is so pretty and the antiques are a very nice touch in the lobby as well as on every landing. The only thing I would add is to have restaurant open we would have rather to have eaten there. Hope to come back with my best friends for a girl trip soon. ”

“Very spacious. It was great luxury to have 2 bedrooms, a living room and even a loft sitting room. The kitchen is well stocked. You don't have to worry about getting dishwasher detergent or coffee filters. My children enjoyed using the spa bath. Great screened porch that we didn't use because of the temperature. The downsides to this stay are poor wifi and channels are not extensive. A lot of backroads to get there meant quite a travel time to Asheville.”

“They are clearly taking advantage of Covid-19. Only 1 restaurant open. Not a full menu. No restaurants open for breakfast. No room cleaning service. No fresh towels. Even if I was to exchange the used towels. No garbage pick up. I was lead to believe that my room was walking distance to everything. It wasn't! It wasn't even on the main property. It was a good 5 minute drive & minimum half hour walk. The room was quaint. Way too many restrictions on everything. No sauna or steam...
