Hey, the host was great, great property. He was labeled as a new lister however he was anything but. Always on his phone in case I needed something. Good location. Good parking. Awesome time all together. Great interior and bathrooms! Thank you. Highly recommend.

Host was great - neighborhood not so much.
The interior of the property appears to be half renovated but definitely clean and you can tell the host is working on improving the space. My daughter says she wishes she could shower in the master shower every day! Check in process was easy. Fast and efficient communication by the host. Lots of cosmetic issues, but all things we could overlook as it did not negatively impact our stay. Biggest issue with this property is the neighborhood. We pulled out of the drive day 1 (arrived late at night) and immediately had a popped tire - flat. There was glass (broken liquor bottles) and trash all over the road. On the 3rd night, he house next door was playing loud music, it was a saturday night so it didnt really surprise us...but at 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. we had a very intoxicated man knocking on our door and ringing our doorbell. My husband attempted to talk to the man both times and asked him to leave us alone, but it was all very unsettling. I reached out to the host who immediately responded by calling me. He was respectful, listened to the details of the situation, and took action immediately by calling the police to take care of the situation. Police arrived soon after and we had no further issues. That being said, we were traveling with 3 small children and just did not feel it was a safe space for us to stay any longer. We left early and found another place to spend the rest of our time in charleston. ain, something we because it
Property was nice. The kitchen could be better stocked and inside of the cabinets need to be updated. You can tell that the house is being updated and is a work-in-process. And a few of the towels had stains on them. Overall, I would stay there again. I can tell the owner is engaged and working to make the property the best it can be. I expect a future trip would show continued improvements.
The home was exactly as listed. Close to local shops. Perfect spot to get to everything including the airport. Traffic is hectic on Fridays but it was light during the weekend.
Everything was clean and functional. The ladies were all very comfortable. The upstairs shower was amazing and everyone fought over who got to use it next! The one thing I heard from each of my girls was that they wanted more blankets. Not sure if they looked for any, but they mentioned being a little cold at night. Great place to stay. Would stay here again!
This property was beautifully decorated, very clean. Provided ample supply of kitchen needs .Master shower was amazing!! Only issue was some difficulty with accessing local network on TV.
The Townhouse was wonderful. Easy access to where we needed to be, nearby restaurants and retail outlets.Very Clean and lots of security lighting for entrance. Enjoyed our stay!
Only stayed one night for a local concert so we didn’t spend much time in the home but it was very clean and super nice. Saved the listing for future visits.

Home was nice neighborhood not so good! Lots of teenagers hanging out playing basketball in the streer in front of the property! Lots of profanity and trash left behind!!
Absolutely loved my stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and cozy. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get, which was such a relief. No surprises, just a beautiful, well-maintained space that felt like home. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. Would definitely book again. Highly recommend!
Communication was great. Everything you need is there. House is in need of some tlc. Most uncomfortable beds. Neighborhood is less than desired. Smelled pot when stepping out doors and noisy neighbors.
Close enough to town and a local grocery store. Great value. Toilet paper holder in downstairs bathroom was missing. Dishwasher bottom impeller melted to heating element, so we hand washed dishes. Please get a pizza cutter and round or no edge pan. This place is huge. Could sleep 8 people if necessary. Fancy upgrades like Shower head in upstairs bathroom was crazy nice and granite tops throughout. Neighborhood not horrible but could be sus for some folks.
We found the property very clean and updated. The kitchen lacked adequate glasses and cups. The shower was amazing. The neighborhood was less than I expected. Although it was July 4th weekend, many fireworks were set off well passed midnight. Fireworks could be heard all around the neighborhood. The unit needed lamps which would have made reading in the bed easier. Nice porch and backyard accessories.
The owner was slow to respond ,once he did, he just stated I can't meet your expectations so check out & get refund. If it had not been it was labor day weekend & nothing left in our area we would have! none of the ceiling fan remotes worked, so you could not turn fan on & light off to sleep. all bedroom's are upstairs so it was hot. we only had 6 small towels for 6 guests, for a 2-night stay, & no towels to dry ladies' hair, no towel for floor when stepping out on tile floor, very slick, no rug ether. No wash rag or hand towel in kitchen so no way to wipe down stove or countertop or table once we cooked, very limited small & wore out pans to cook in. only 5 coffee cups for 6 people, no clothes hangers, one roll of paper towels, one trash bag, bathroom drawer was a sticky mess. dog fence was 8 " off the ground, so your dog could just walk under it on one side. Neighborhood is pretty sketchy, while were there we heard gun shots, & cops came by to see if everyone was ok. We stay at a lot of vrbo & have never had an experience like this. I never leave a bad review, but this was terrible, please read the other reviews you will see the same problems, probably ok for a one-night stand, & you don't eat or shower or unpack your clothes , worse than camping out. I would suggest vrbo take them off their rental list. surprised vrbo didn't offer us part of our money back, I even said i would go buy a few towels ,clothes hanger if they would reimburse us, but owner said no.He helpless
Terrible- and I didn’t even stay!!! Beware of this host. Got a confirmation email saying check in was at 10am- arrived at 2pm and was unable to check in. Contacted the host and was informed it was an error on VRBOs end and to contact them. Contacted their support team and was told check in was actually at 4pm and unfortunately there was nothing they could do, which was fine. While waiting for host to respond if we could have an early check in, noticed that the outdoor garbage cans were overflowing, grass was well overgrown, and the gate for the fence was off the hinges. Host eventually contacted me back stating that he could not honor early check in as they needed time to clean and sanitize the home prior to arrival (how they would do that in less than 2 hours is beyond me). Host reviewed cameras noting that we had a dog with us and decided 30 mins prior to the 4pm check in that cancellation was the best option. This is listed as a dog friendly home (and my dog is a service animal) but host stated that I did not pay a pet fee (not listed anywhere on the listing) but I would have happily paid a pet fee. Upon trying to dispute the charge with VRBO, the host LIED and stated that the home was not pet friendly despite the listing. False advertisement all around.

Three Strikes and I Checked Out
Upon arrival the front door would not open due to the battery in the lock being drained, strike one. Owner arrived and changed the batteries and did ask if everything was okay which I advised was fine although we had not had time to check the house unfortunately. Once inside the house we noticed that there was a laundry basket full near an entry door but chose to ignore it as a simple mistake on the cleaners part, strike two. The upstairs barn door connecting the master to the bathroom was broken therefore no privacy from the restroom. After several hours of being there we noticed that we were constantly cleaning water from the downstairs bathroom. Upon washing dishes it was discovered that the water was actually coming from the kitchen sink which was adjacent to the bathroom, strike three. The water was coming up into the bathroom via sink, wall, and toilet. At this point I was afraid of what would or could happen next and chose to contact owner and make him aware we were departing as I felt the conditions were not up to par for my family which included minor children. The owner which I have given a chance to rectify the situation in some way doesn’t feel anything was wrong. Needless to say we figured out why there was wet laundry discovered upon entry and realized sometimes you just can’t give things a chance and let them go. Had we complained in the beginning perhaps we would have known that the owner would not except responsibility for renting without checking the unit.

There were minimal dishes (some of which seem old and dirty that need replaced). Not all that clean, (there were fake flower petals all over the floor, bathroom mirror upstairs was dirty) and no extra trash bags or access to the large trash can. One of the door knobs isn’t attached to the door, some of the doors didn’t close all the way. The pillows were veryyyyyy flat and uncomfortable. Not a terrible stay by all means. But seems like a work in progress.
