“We just stopped over for a night on a road trip just needing a place to sleep before hitting the road again. This motel exceeded our expectations. The man that checked is in had the keys waiting for us and was very friendly. The room was roomy and comfortable. It was very close to the main strip so super convenient to go have a run on the beach before heading off. There was a bit of mould in the shower but not enough to be overly concerned. We will be looking for accommodation here the next...

I felt completely safe here as a solo female traveler, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The location is peaceful, the atmosphere welcoming, and it’s a wonderful base to explore the area. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and secure getaway. ”

“We had the most amazing time at the Clarendon Forest Retreat. We stayed in the Sanctuary house. The peace and quiet, sitting looking over the hills in the afternoon, and relaxing in the hot tub was so what we needed. Also, one of the highlights was when we were in the local corner shop, we were sharing with the lady at the cash register that we were staying at the Clarendon Forest Retreat and the gentleman behind us was the builder of the house! We highly recommend this place! ”

“While the front of the property is unassuming, the inside is spacious and the view is fantastic. Easy check in, and a nice grassy area behind to string up the hammock and read a book. Only suggestion would be to provide additional door stoppers for the beds as they roll very easily on the tile! Doggo and I had a great time, will certainly use this facility again. ”
