âDoes the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays.â

Long scenic walks to the harbour, delicious dining at the Marco Pierre White Chophouse, and the truly exceptional restaurant staffâwho also brightened our morning at breakfastâmade the experience unforgettable. The ambient bar was a lovely spot to unwind, and a little Costa Coffee bar available. Every member of the hotel team was warm, polite, and welcoming. They made us feel so looked after. âStayed on a Friday night as we were at a family do. Perfect for us. Had the twin. Both beds comfortable - one softer than the other. Had everything we needed. There's limited on site parking but wasn't an issue for us as road restrictions finish early evening and there's no restrictions on the Sunday. The owner was attentive and helpful. Information sheet was perfect.
The breakfast was excellent! â

âThe hotel was really nice and clean with spacious rooms. However the rooms were just so warm that I did not sleep well which is why I will choose another hotel next time. There was a stand alone air conditioner but they are very noisy so it was not possible to have it turned on during the night. If the heating was fixed I could choose this hotel again. Everything else about it was nice. â

"I really loved the room on the top floor facing Dover Castle. It was like having a wonderful piece of art just outside the window.
I also loved the whiteness and the minimalistic interiors of the place.
I used the kitchenette and it was totally fine except from the fridge which was so cold my fresh vegetables froze.
I stayed for 5 nights and the only really downsides of the place was that the toilets were not being cleaned for several days.
The owners were also very slow in responding to several guests trying to contact them because the guests needed support in some different ways.
I would recommend the place despite this though. It is placed in a very quiet part of Dover and I did like the atmosphere in the building. "
