“The hall is beautiful with nice gardens and lots of character.
Unfortunately the spa was very full and therefore not enjoyable and we had a terrible nights sleep because there is zero soundproofing, we could hear everything from the room above us and any movement in the corridor.
I particularly loved our characterful room and view and the surprise jetted bathtub, but even though we turned the radiators off the large pipes throughout the room were still providing too much heat so we had to...

“Great staff, but the room was cold and it wasn’t very clean (the carpet was filthy). Staff helped by supplying a plug-in heater (room heating had broken) and this helped but the floor was still too cold to stand on for long!”
