Upon arrival and entering the property, I had a small amount of 'mixed emotion'. The 'excellent' part of the property is that the accommodation is well decorated ('beachy' look and feel), it's an approximate 3-5 minutes' walk to the beach (thumbs up!), it has its own private yard space with a grill and hose (say, to wash your car) at the side of the cottage off the kitchen entrance, and the property is 'off the beaten path' (you really have to drive slow to look for it or you'll drive right by it - lol), and is situation in the middle of everything 'Myrtle'. The reason for my 'mixed emotion' statement - and giving it 4 stars ('Good') - is due to the closeness of the two bedrooms (which isn't really a deal breaker), but primarily where the second bathroom is situated: in the kitchen! The living room and kitchen run together (in the fashion of many apartments). However, as the stove, sink, counter workspace and dishwasher are all set against the same back wall, it ends with the (second) bathroom immediately next to it (make sure the dishwasher door is closed prior to opening/closing the bathroom door to enter or exit it). In other words, you walk out of the bathroom and are standing in the [small] kitchen, which leaves little in the name of privacy for the individual using it. Otherwise - and again - this does not create a 'deal breaker' situation, as the positives of staying here far outweigh the cottage's "Oh, well!" points. . .and, yes, I would reserve it again.
