It Eas Just Okay

The check it process was pretty easy and thankfully the host replies fairly quickly when we contacted her. When we arrived we had an issue getting into the parking garage because the hotel changed the code to get in and did not contact the owner. The view of the condo was amazing. It felt like you were on a cruise boat. The kitchen looked okay except for the appliances were very outdated. The refrigerator had ducktape holding it together on the inside. Definitely needs updated. Do not rent this room if you are planning to cook. The range was also very outdated. The two big burners do not work at all. And the smaller burners barely got anything cooked. Also all the pots and pans are scratched up with the non-stick coating which is not safe to cook with. We also had issues with hot water. We called maintenance daily to complain about having no hot water. There were also old vacuums in the closet that had a sign to not use since it smokes up... don't know why they still have it. The balcony was nice but they could update their furniture. 2 of the 5 chairs were broken and there was some kind of metal rack that was all rusted and broken. Had to be careful around it so that we wouldn't accidentally get scratched and get the tetanus shot. I definitely would say it was not worth the cost that we paid for it. But again the Host was really nice and helpful and was easy to contact.

Location was good, overall condo did not meet our expectations

The local was great, however the condo was not updated as advertised. The condo was dirty and the beds were very uncomfortable. The toilet in the main bathroom leaks and the frig and freezer have duck tape holding the shelves on. Wrist bands are required by the resort and we were not given any at check-in. We were given three by housekeeping, but had a party of 4.

Perfect rental, 100% as advertised

We really enjoyed our stay at Baywatch Towers. We have been here many times before. This year we rented through VRBO and it was so much easier. The owner was excellent and answered all my questions and concerns promptly. More importantly the property was as advertised and clean and ready for us.

Spacious condo with awesome views

We stayed at this condo over the 4th of July week and it was overall a good experience. The condo itself was updated and clean. The bedrooms were huge and the main living area was enough for the 5 of us. At this price point, the value was excellent. The resort itself is a little older and had a few hiccups but i think the holiday crowd was most of the reason. Overall, our stay was awesome, the space was great, views are unbelievable and the value was great.

The condo itself was clean for the most part when we arrived. The floors were very nice - so much better than carpet. The kitchen counter tops were very nice and the kitchen appeared clean. The owner was very responsive to messaging which we appreciated very much. The view was amazing! Unfortunately, every time we sat on the balcony the smell of marijuana smoke and cigarette smoke was overwhelming, in spite of the posted smoke free facility signs. We did not realize there would be no hand soap in the condo. We likewise didn’t realize there would be only one sample package of dishwasher detergent (that didn’t get the dishes clean). There were no trash bags, either. Maybe that information was in the fine print somewhere and I missed it. Sadly, the mattresses were horrible. In the master bedroom, the mattress was so thin you could feel the springs. The box spring had a stain on it that looked as if someone had bled out on the bed. There was black stuff staining the ceiling as it blew out of the air duct. The hallway bathroom shower was nearly useless because very little water came out of it - most of the water was still coming out of the spigot. The refrigerator was rusty on the outside and duct taped on the inside. I contacted the on site property manager about a television issue and he never got back to me. The pool/lazy river was filthy and we never saw anyone treat it. I would not stay at the Bay Watch again but if I had to, I would consider staying in this unit if the bed situation were remedied. Overall, this unit was much better than the other units the people we traveled with stayed in.

Great beach vacation!

Overall we had a really great stay at this property. The owner and property manager were very responsive to messages and helpful when we needed things. For example, the hairdryer was broken when we arrived and the property manager brought us two new ones the next morning. The views of the ocean are amazing and the property has a lot of great amenities. The unit itself was clean and as pictured. I felt some of the kitchen amenities could be updated as some of the cookware seemed outdated and seemed a bit hodgepodge. For example, there were several kitchen utensils, but no spatula. You will need to bring or purchase basic supplies such as toilet paper, paper towel, shampoo, soap, etc if you are staying more than a couple of days.

Amazing View!

The Condo was fantastic! Very spacious and comfortable. My husband and i travel frequently and we both agree this was one of our best stays in the Myrtle Beach area. The view from the oceanfront balcony was amazing. It was nice to be in a less populated area of the beach. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location

Found this last minute for my son’s senior fall break. We had plans for the gulf however the hurricanes changed our plans. The pictures for this place are exactly as they appear. Right on the beach and a couple big pools. Highly recommended!

Great Time

Everything went without issue, the owner emailed me about how to get into the parking garage and how to get into the property, no other communication was needed. When we arrived everything was very clean and tidy, a quick trip to the local supermarket and we were right at home. The views of the beach were breathtaking, the access to the beach very simple and very close. Lots to do in both North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach itself - if I had any recommendations it would be that maybe a "top ten things to do advice list" in the condo but it's a minor thing where Google and a little research did just as well. Overall - great time, yes I would recommend this to any of my friends and family and would be the first place we look when booking a vacation again next year - many thanks!

Awesome stay

We had an awesome time❤️ When booking he was super super nice and very responsive! Beds are comfortable. There was a smushed ice cream sandwich in the freezer, and the blinds needed to be replaced there were a lot missing. They were continually cleaning the lobby etc to make everyone feel safe. Elevators are super fast. Loved the parking deck and lots of pools. Will definitely be back☀️

Great Property at a location with great Amenities

This property met our needs for our week long stay in Myrtle Beach. Bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable. The view was spectacular! Great location and literally just a few steps to the beach.

Clean and spacious condo

The condo is clean and spacious. However, the appliances have seen better days and the policy that requires that guests empty the dishwasher before leaving lead some to simply put unclean dishes back into the cabinets. We had to start our vacation with washing dishes...and the dishwater leaked water all over the kitchen floor. Those are minor details, but we expected better.

Wonderful stay!!

Very nice condo!! Beautiful view from the 16th floor!! Great communication with owner. Steps from the beach and several pools on site to enjoy!! Plenty of dishes but may I suggest stocking the kitchen with a nice cookware set and bakeware and serving dishes . We like to cook in so providing these items would greatly improve the cooking experience for future quests. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us and we look forward to staying here in the future ..( Hopefully there will not be a hurricane during our next stay)

Great place with view

We had a wonderful family vacation in North Myrtle Beach and this unit was a great base. Every morning we had coffee on the balcony and then made the tough decision: beach or pool. There are lots of places to venture to and lots of dining options in the area. Parking was easy, there are lots of families staying on the property.
