Good value

This property is a good value beach house. Great location, Very close to the beach & other attractions & shopping. Seven bedrooms, so room for everyone, adequately stocked kitchen, made for comfortable stay.

Beach Trip

This is a solid house for a beach trip! The communication with the property manager was clear and easy. We had issues with our AC and they had it fixed as fast as they could. It would be great to have a little more soft seating in the house (only one couch) but otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great size for our family reunion with 11 adults and 2 children. The home is old but in good condition and in a great location. Beach access directly across from beach and in walking distance to shops, restaurants and groceries. The home was mostly clean except for under beds where there was trash, other’s belongings and a dirty glass.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house could use some upgrades(ie. a TV hung on the wall above the stairs in the kitchen/living area upstairs, a TV in the master suite upstairs). It was a great size in terms of bedrooms for my 15 person family. The location was ideal, close to restaurants and the pier and right across the road from public beach access. The refrigerator gave us issues but a repair was offered that day that lasted through our stay. Overall good experience.

The property left a lot to be desired and in my opinion is overpriced. You can’t access the laundry room from inside the house. The ceiling in the laundry room is collapsing. Maintenance came out on Monday to look at it and came out on Thursday to repair. My stay was Sunday through Friday. The previous tenants left fish in the freezer so we could not use the refrigerator. I contacted the property manager first thing Monday morning to make them aware of the disgusting, pungent smell of spoiled fish. They suggested that I take the drawers out of the fridge or that I unplug it. They advised me the cleaner was out of the area but would come Tuesday to see what they could do to get rid of the smell. They also told me that the cleaner was aware of the situation bc the previous tenants had left fish in the freezer and they used vinegar and water to attempt to get rid of the smell. The cleaner did not come until Wednesday and said there was nothing he could do and he would recommend they replace the refrigerator. I voiced my disappointment to Sarah who is the manager at Carolina Resort and she was not empathetic or willing to offer any reasonable compensation for my family’s inconvenienced vacation. We were forced to eat out every meal and had to buy a cooler so we could at least store waters. We also bought multiple boxes of baking soda to attempt to get rid of the smell and could not use the laundry room. Lastly there are missing faceplates, exposed wires and broken kitchen chairs.

The pictures of the beach house does no justice to this property. The house was dirty, very dated, musty smell, bath tubs didn't drain properly and had several waterbugs!!! The owners needs to a better job for what the customers are renting for!!!!!! The landscape is not kept, couldn't even see the address due to overgrown vegetation. That was my first and would be my last ever using that property. I was very disappointed but made the best out of the weekend. I give 1 star and would not recommend to anyone.

Found blood and hair on bedding. Poor customer service; no follow up- still waiting for a return call two week after departure. Will not use this property again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I recently stayed at this vacation rental for six days. While there were a few positive aspects of the property, the numerous maintenance issues, safety concerns, and poor customer service significantly overshadowed any positives. I believe future guests deserve an honest and complete account of our experience so they can make an informed decision before booking.To begin with, I want to acknowledge that the home itself was generally clean upon arrival. Housekeeping appeared to have done a good job cleaning the living spaces, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Unfortunately, cleanliness alone does not make for a comfortable or enjoyable vacation when the property suffers from multiple maintenance issues that interfere with basic functionality and create legitimate safety concerns.One of the first things we noticed was that nearly all of the furniture, both inside and outside the home, was extremely dated and showed considerable wear. While I understand that furniture does not have to be brand new, many of the pieces appeared to have exceeded their useful life. The outdoor furniture was particularly worn, making it less inviting to relax outside, and the indoor furnishings lacked the comfort and quality one would reasonably expect from a vacation rental at this price point.Another inconvenience was the laundry room’s location. Unlike most vacation homes where the laundry area is accessible from within the house, this property’s laundry room could only be reached by exiting the home and entering through an exterior door. This may not seem like a major issue until you actually have to use it multiple times during your stay. Walking outside each time to do laundry is inconvenient, particularly if it’s raining, late at night, or if you’re traveling with children. Had this been clearly disclosed beforehand, we would have known what to expect.Unfortunately, the laundry room presented a much more serious

On Sale Market- Don’t Rent

Property is up for sale. Pictures on listing do not accurately portray status of rooms. Minimal seating. After much discussion, seating was brought in along with folding tables and chairs. Water was turned off when we arrived. City employees had to come out to turn water back on. Will not be booking from this agency again.

The weeds were way over grown, the kids could not play in the front yard. The air conditioning downstairs did not work and it stayed 74 degrees the entire time. The washer and dryer were not accessible or useable.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was not satisfied with my stay. Two of the showers we could not use. Two of the tvs did not work. There were used towels behind one of the beds. The front of the house looked abandon. When I told the office again when I dropped off my keys there was nothing said to satisfy my complaint but we are sorry for this that’s it. I have rented in Myrtle Beach for years because my sons play AAU. I can honestly say this was my worse stay. I know there is nothing or will be done because hey you got your money what can I do. But I will know next time.
