Gillade: Incheckning, kommunikation och plats
Unfortunately, this property had issues from the start. Upon checking in, it became clear the entire upstairs rug was stained. Numerous stains existed on the entire middle level. To their credit, they sent one gentleman wait a handheld carpet cleaner. I tried to explain the ENTIRE rug was covered in stains. Please see the photos. Of course, he was unable to clean it. This unfortunate incident and multiple stains left us feeling the place was not well kept. Additionally, no hand towels were provided for the powder room either. I had to search the property and cabinets to conjure up one. Additionally, most properties at Barefoot have access to the main pool at the North Tower. We’ve stayed at different properties at Barefoot Resort over the years. The property even had a key fob to enter the pool but it did NOT work. We went to the pool and tried to enter but we were unable to. Evidently the owners did not pay the HOA fees and pool access was denied. Luckily, parents from our team were there and could let us in a couple of days later. Finally, the units have thin walls and we could hear the neighbors playing loud music and voices until all hours. We were told we would get a partial refund. We will see if they do this or not. It would impact our final review and we will update this post pending. Otherwise, it’s ok for families if they Fox these issues.
