“The staff was very helpful when we checked in. They don't seem to have a dedicated front desk person so when we arrived at 2, I had to go find someone. The breakfast spread was pretty generous. Looks like they bake their muffins on site. Couple issues with the room. The TV was on when we came into our room. I thought it was a welcoming thing. “I stayed 3 nights and had to take my own trash out, couldn't get my room cleaned, had to bring down towels for replacement. I booked an extra night during my stay and still had someone banging on my door like the police were outside, scared the life out of me. Morning staff was rude, night staff was amazing. Stairs were never vacuumed. It was an ok stay but a lot of extra work when I was just trying to relax.”

They had shampoo and conditioner put it just a small packet but again not enough for 4 people. There's a great store nearby called thr Ocean State Job Lot on 285 Main Street on Buzzards Bay with excellent prices on bath sheet towels $8.99/each. They have great restaurants one called the Pilot House 20 mins away, Loafy Loft with great Vietnamese ice...

“Did not like the fact that my wife and I were getting ready to go to dinner Saturday evening and some other couple walked into our room because the office gave them a key to our room so we never left for dinner we never left the room again for the night after they walked in and then we seen the same couple come back to get into the room next door that was also already occupied not sure what's going on with the office help”

“The room was nice. Two clean and comfy queen beds with decent walking room. A Desk, a fridge, microwave and a nice open bathroom. The only thing that let me down was the drain in the tub wouldn't plug to take a bath, the internet was spotty the TV only had cable it was a smart TV to watch streaming or even mirror my phone too. Otherwise the pool was amazing - very clean, big and very warm. It went 3ft, 4ft, and 5ft which was nice also.”

“Nice room. Bed was very comfy. The HVAC was a little, tiny bit noisy. The tv guide an old scroller, which I find pretty annoying. Other than that a very nice holiday inn express. Breakfast was well looked after and food was very fresh and good!”

I had the front desk clerk come and change the sheets because there was a stain of dirt on the sheets. When you pulled back the covers. I was exhausted when I arrived and just didn't have the energy to go to a different hotel. The photographs are misleading. Do not stay at this hotel. I paid $300 a night and it was a complete total rip-off. It was worse than motel 6. It should have been $69 a night!”

The husband/wife team that runs the place are kind, considerate and extremely pleasant and the whole atmosphere appears to be plucked from the brain of someone with clever design ideas and highly influenced by Johanna Gaine's-type decor approaches.
