I booked this property in August 2025 for a family trip planned for late May/early June 2026. My reservation was accepted, my credit card was charged in August of 2025. My family started our vacation in Anchorage. After we arrived in Anchorage for the start of our trip I receive notice that the owner sold the property and can no longer honor our reservation. This left me scrambling to find accommodations for 9 people at the last minute.

Excellent Property!!

This location was perfect for a quick weekend get-a-way and the host stocked the property with every convenience that could be imagined, including providing cold weather gear if anyone needed it. The host was quick to respond if there were questions and the stay was absolutely perfect.

Amazing winter weekend im Fairbanks

My wife and i stayed here for a 3 day getaway in January and it didnt disappoint. It was warm and cozy and jad everything we needed for a relaxing time away. Everything was in good working order and the host was super responsive to all of pur questions about the area and the unique challenges of Fairbanks in the winter. We have stayed at many VRBOs and this is one of the best, we would return here for another getaway in a heartbeat.

As advertised

The property is amazing. Beds are extremely comfortable. We saw the northern lights 4 different nights. The family all enjoyed the hot tub. There were single digit and below zero temps are entire stay but the hot tub still got plenty of use as well as the fire pit. I highly recommend this as a vacation rental while in North Pole/Fairbanks
