“The cabin, Bossie, is beautifully located. It also has all of the amenities I needed, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, towels, linens. It also is nicely appointed with attractive quilts and curtains. I also like the fire pit. The cabin is near 13th Lake which is gorgeous and quiet. I believe it's on state land.My only concern was the presence of a couple of big unfriendly dogs, maybe owned by other guests or residents nearby. One of them came by and started barking at me the...

“I've stayed here before and returned twice recently because it's very reasonably priced, very clean and has amenities to make you more comfortable that other places I've stayed don't necessarily have. The Maple Leaf was a great find for me since I've stayed at a few other places in Schroon Lake which were OK, but this is my favorite spot to stay.”
