Great cabin for a big family stay!

Had an amazing time with the family. Honestly, it was perfect, our only critique was that there was no TV on the property (the listing did not claim there would be), but that hardly ended up mattering because we spent most of our time outside with the lovely weather we enjoyed!

Great place needs some taking care of

The place was nice. It has in the listings and pictures, pool tables and air hockey, all of which are broke. Normally it wouldn’t matter but it rained a ton! The outside of the property was very wet, and left the kids with little to do. They did make the best of them. Overall nice place and would have been more enjoyable had it had better weather. Pond does have fish and was fun for the kids when the weather permitted.

Fantastic

This house was stunning. We had such a wonderful time. Plenty of room for all of us. Fire pit was our favorite spot. Lots of laugh and stories told. Way too many s’mores consumed. Oh wait. That’s. Good thing. 👍👍👍 Would highly highly recommend. Thank you for everything.

Ideal location for retreat

I booked this house for a strategic planning multi-day retreat for a fraternal organization involving about a dozen individuals. It was a perfect setup - plenty of individual beds, a good sized dining room table for communal meals and common areas, covered porches and recreational possibilities for breaks. The house is thoughtfully furnished; lots of extra bathroom towels and linens, for example. Kitchen is very well furnished with plenty of dishes, glassware and silverware, and essential condiments and cooking supplies. There is a good supply of knives, serving utensils and pots/pans for meal preparation. Large property of 19 acres including a pond and firepit for guest use. Communication with manager/owner was excellent. It was absolutely ideal for our purposes, and will definitely consider booking again in future.

Eclipse 2024

We choose this location as the perfect place to experience the eclipse totality with our whole family. The younger kids enjoyed playing out side. The older kids enjoyed the game room. Best of all there was space enough to accommodate all of us. We were even able to open up the dining table to seat all of us for dinner. Very clean, easy to clean up, wonderful to have many things provided so we didn’t have to bring our own along. Thank you!!

Family / Friends Early Thanksgiving

This property was perfect for our large family / friends annual early thanksgiving get together. The house was perfect for accomodating a large multi family group with several young children and had tons of ammenities. Even though we were rained out and to stay inside the house had tons of space so we still had an amazing time and will book again.

Family reunion

Best family retreat ever! Hosts thought of everything! Comfortable, spacious! All we really needed to bring were our personal items and food and drinks!! Plenty of towels, linens, shampoos, conditioner, body wash. As well as paper products and all condiments for cooking! Plenty for the kids to do as well!!We look forward to coming back!!

Family get together at the North Rose Retreat

We had been looking for a large rental property for a family get together. We had 24 people expected but ended at 20, ages 50 to 5. The property was exactly what we hoped for. It was beautiful, spacious, well stocked and with many activities onsite. Outdoor games, fishing pond, beautiful firepit area with additonal one for cooking, game room, and a toy / puzzle collection that kept the youngsters happy. The bunk beds in the 5 downstairs bedrooms were all larger sized and comfortable for adults. The kitchen was well furnished, the coffee was well stocked and the many snacks were a great touch. All in all I highly recommend the property for get togethers and hope to return there again.

Girls Weekend Retreat

My group of friends and family had a great weekend at this beautiful home! The house has a big open concept in the living room, dining room and kitchen which made it nice for spending time with eachother. Plenty of sleeping options and a beautiful outdoor space. Plenty of land for yard games, sitting at the fire and walking trails. The deck was large and spacious for enjoying the beautiful fall weather. The host supplied so many necessities, from condiments, to snacks, towel and toilet paper. We didn’t have to run to the store for anything. They had everything we needed and more. We were all very happy with this rental, definitely recommend to others! Thank you for everything Lois!

Perfect house for a relaxing weekend

Booked this property for our bachelorette weekend. Arrived Friday afternoon for setup and got in effortlessly. House was just as described with an abundance of supplies (towels, sheets, pillows, tissue, etc). Spotless upon arrival. Enjoyed a laid back Friday evening followed by a wine tour Saturday. The house and outdoor firepit area were a dream to come back to. Plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing and absolutely beautiful to be in. Would definitely stay here again with a group!
